It's now Monday, this is your first time seeing him at school. Why were you so motivated today? Oh dear. You check the time and it's 5:42 AM, school starts at 7am and ends at 3pm. Not really in a rush, but you quickly make your breakfast to get the day started.

While eating, you check your socials to see if someone messaged you. Looking at the notifications, the whole team followed you, what the fuck.

Of course you follow them back! It'd be rude if you didn't. After you finished eating, you wash the dish like the good kid you are. Now the clock's ticking after you see Kageyama's message.

Do you wanna walk to school?

You immediately rushed to your bathroom to shower. A few minutes has passed by, Kageyama's been waiting for your reply. Luckily, he was unexpectedly patient with you. He, himself noticed that he's acting different.

Getting out of the shower finally in your uniform you text him a 'yes' while grabbing your backpack and putting on your shoes. He finally got a reply! he checks his phone and grabs a few of his stuff and go out of the house.

"Mom, I'll be going now." He yells across the room, hoping that his mom heard her. "Okay Tobio, stay safe and have fun at school! Love you." His mother yelled back. "Love you too..." he mumbles before going out the house.

He types out then places the gadget on his pocket, knocking the door instead of pressing the doorbell on your house. You open the door to see him once again, you didn't let your mom know that you were leaving because she's still sleeping.

Time check, it was 6:23. Just in time to get to school, before going inside the school's corridors, you hear a familiar voice call you two. "L/n! Kageyama!" It was Hinata, you know that this was gonna be a bad start knowing that Kageyama finds Hinata annoying.

"You two walking to school together now?!" The orange boy yelped, going inside the corridors with you two. You kept silent, while Kageyama's screaming at him. "Stop that bullshit, Hinata!" "Why would I?!" "Just stop!"

The two were fighting behind you, causing yourself to facepalm. You just let them be and go to your classroom, after a while Kageyama and Hinata realizes that you're not with them anymore. "Where's L/n?" The blue boy stopped, the other following.

"Maybe she's at her classroom now? You're the reason why she went ahead!" The orange boy argued, Kageyama didn't want another fight to happen. He just went to your classroom to see if you're there.

And yes, he does see you. He sighs and goes back to his classroom, not knowing what to do on his chair. So he just thought of volleyball, as usual.

Lunch time has finally come! but... ah shit. You forgot to make your lunch, luckily there was a school cafeteria. Before going out of the classroom you fix your stuff and place the next book on your table for the next subject, you receive a notification on your device.

It was no other than Kageyama! You can't even tell if you're close now. You sigh, probably guessing that you won't get to eat lunch.

lunch, I didn't know who to give it to. Want it?

You feel blessed, stupid you not making your lunch the night before. You were tired though, you just type out;

You leave him on read and went to the rooftop, you had an hour and 30 minutes lunch. You saw a blue haired boy sitting on the bench at the rooftop, tapping his shoulder he turns his back to you.

"Here, I'll just let mom know that you ate it." He opens his bento and eats, "Hey, why are you showing it like I'm the one to blame?" you gave him a frown. He chuckles, "Nah, she'd probably be glad. Her food didn't go to waste."

After taking a bite, you got amazed. "This... this is your mom's cooking?" you tasted it again. Kageyama gave you a nod, taking another bite. "It's good! Really good."

"I'm glad you like her cooking, I do too." He finished his bento so fast, so did you. "Who wouldn't?" you two throw the plastic container to the trash bin, going back to downstairs. "Oh and, do you have a quiz on science?" Kageyama asks you, you look at him and say yes.

"Ah... well, can you teach me later? my quiz is on Friday." He places his hands in his pocket, waiting for your answer." It took you a while to decide, you didn't have any plans though.

So you agree, "After practice right?" you say right after agreeing. "Yes, but I guess we can study at my house." Oh. my. God. 'His house?!' You thought to yourself, you were processing the situation.

"L/n?" Kageyama asks concernedly, you snap back to reality. "Oh, uhm, yes." you come up with an idea. "While you're at practice, I'll just make the reviewers then." 'Sounds like a plan.' Kageyama thought.

"Sure, I'll go back inside my classroom now. See you later L/n." You swear, you saw his lips curl a little.

It was after school, your teacher announced that there was no school tomorrow due to a teacher's only meeting. Most students were going to their clubs to practice. You wait for Kageyama outside his classroom, it took you a tap on his shoulder to notice that you were there.

"Oh, L/n." He lowkey widened his eyes seeing you in front of his classroom, "I didn't expect you were waiting for me." He places his books in his backpack.

"I was just finishing the reviewer actually, I'll just go back to the classroom. Text me when you're do-" He cuts you off and says, "How about you just make the reviewers at my home and just watch me practice?"

Were you blushing? watch him practice? God, what has gotten into you? "Uhm, sure?" you went to the gym with him and see the guys you hanged out yesterday.

"Look, it's L/n!" Sugawara notices, all of them turn their eyes on you. "I'm just here to wait for Kageyama actually, just fixing a few homework." You scratch your head and take a seat.

You see Kiyoko approaching your way, you slightly fix yourself up. Only for you to realize she's sitting right next to you. Kicking your feet slightly like a little kid, she talked to you.

"L/n, are you interested in joining any sports? Like a manager somehow?" you look at her, thinking of what to answer. "No, actually... I probably wouldn't have time for it either, I study a lot." Kiyoko just nods slowly at your answer

"Well, if you perhaps change your mind just come to me. I'm actually finding a new manager, I was hoping that you'd join, so you can see Kageyama more." She hands out a poster after.

Even Kiyoko? You sigh. "I think, I know someone that would like to join as manager." Giving Kiyoko an idea.
