The Zennin decided to use this opportunity to cut all ties with his clan as well.
As they left the territory, they walked back to the Zennin's.
"I plan on leaving this wretched clan as well, do you want to go with me?" He asked for her opinion.
"I have nowhere else to go, why not?" She walked in front of him, backwards with the biggest smile all over her face.
"Look forward, you might trip." He warned her with care.
"Don't worry, I won't." She said and quickly turned around, almost hitting her head on a tree before her, but she didn't feel any pain. She felt rather a little soft hand on her forehead right in front of her.
"Gojo Clan seems to have weak sorcerers, if someone like you is the best amongst them." He teased, flicking her forehead, making her glare at him.
"Now that I am no longer a Gojo, am I am Zennin?" She teased him back.
"That really was unexpected. Did you follow me back?" She pried for some answers, in order to understand his train of thought.
"I did follow you back since I've heard that you had a bad feeling." He simply kept walking, occasionly kicking small pebbles on his way.
"But why did you say that you were my husband?" She did not understand his reasoning still.
"I only stepped in when the Head was involved, since I knew that my involvement will change his mind on the wedding between you and your nephew. Your father wouldn't have said anything and probably would have locked you up as a punishment."
"You have a good situation awareness. To be able to pick up the entirety of situation and our connection. I was very wrong about you, you are quite clever, Toji-kun." She said and booped his nose as he was standing pretty close to her.
"You thought that I was stupid?" He asked, astonished.
"Yeah, the stuff that you do doesn't correspond with your intelligence level." She said and skipped her way to run in front of him.
"I regret my decision." He said, chuckling at her cuteness.
She looked so carefree and happy.
Toji didn't want her to wither away and witness anything bad anymore.

"We are almost there! Finally! My feet are killing me!" The girl said, putting her hands hight up in the air. However suddenly, she was picked up my the older male.
"We would have to find a new place to live in and keep a low profile for a bit, before moing the important things and the furniture there. The estimated time before the Gojo Clan will write a complaint letter to the Zennin would be around a week." Toji planned ahead.
"I don't think it would a week. You forgot that I am a daughter of the Head's right hand man. I estimate the half of that time. But wait... you want to find an apartment together?" She was smilghtly shocked.
"Well, the rent is pretty costly here in Tokyo. If you don't mind, I am down to share the cost." Toji said and kept walking with her in his hands.
"Uhm, okay, but could you please let me down? I am kind of heavy." She persuaded him, without actually wanting him to let her go. Her feet hurt a lot. She hoped he would continue carrying her.
"You are, but that's a good workout for me." He insulted her, but she just kept quiet.
"You say that I am cruel, but you're worse." The woman mumbled.
"Sure, sure." Toji just admitted, unable to have any more power to fight back.
Yukiko just stayed quiet as well, she leaned back her head into his chest and just fell asleep.

After a little while, the woman woke up in the same place once again. The same tatami floor, covered by soft bedsheets. But this time, she didn't find any man to be laying next to her. Instead, she heard a soft speaking voice coming from the kitchen.
"Yes, preferably closer to the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College... no, we don't. My wife works in that area. Is there any apartments available for two people?... Two bedrooms... yes. Thank you." He said and turned his head towards the woman who was looking at that nice scene.
"Wife, huh?" She smirked. "Let me remember that time when you said that I am not a wife material, yet here you are." She wrapped herself with the big, fluffy blankets.
"You are hard to deal with, Yuki-chan." He said with a soft smile.
"Yet here we are! I want to eat, what did you make?" She asked, smelling something nice coming from the kitchen.
"You are shameless. Wash up and eat, then we need to get you something to wear. You've been wearing that same kimono for days now." Toji said getting up from his seat and walking towards bedroom and cleaning it up.
"Thanks, Toji-kun." The girl left to wash up and eat.

"I like the green colored one, what do you think?" The girl asked the man, twirling around to show him the design.
"Why green though?" He asked, confused by her sudden change. As he remembered her saying, she only wore baby blue coloured kimonos.
"Since meeting you, my favorite colour seemed to have changed to green." She explained and gave him a wink, confusing the man even more.
"So do you like this one or the other one?" She asked again.
"Both look good on you. Let's buy the last three that you tried on." He said and stood up to get the cheque.
"Wait, what are you doing? I have my own money! Wait, no! I have to contact the executives for the money transfer. I have given my father the right to borrow my money!" She was a bit nervous. He might have already taken all of her money.
"Do you have your card right now?" Toji asked with a poker face. And the girl realised that she left her bank card at that place.
"I would have to request them to bring me my things back." She said and looked down at her hands.
"And I would pay for this right now then." He gave the card to the girl to pay for the clothes.
"Thanks Toji-kun, I would definitely repay you when I get my money back." She gave him a smile.
"No need, just consider this as repayment for that time where you payed for our food." He replied, remembering their first outing together.
"But that was nothing compared to the cost of these three kimonos." She looked at him in confusion. The cashier just took the card and packed the clothes in the bags.
"Cut the price tag from the one that she is wearing right now." Toji just said and took the bags.
The woman complied and cut the price tag and bid them farewell.
"Thank you again, Toji-kun." She said and hugged him from the back, startling the man.
He just kept silent, as his eyes turned red from embarrassment.
The friends decided to visit the apartment that was suggested to Toji in the morning, while they were out together.
There was no tension or awkward feelings.
Both of the adults felt somehow comfortable to act as though they were already married.
