"What?" Slowly, my head turned to look up at him in all his horrifying glory. Snow continued to fall as the patio roof cast a dramatic light on All for One's faceless face. How can he know? Nobody else has realized we are back in the past, except me, I thought in a panic. Since I regressed, nobody has ever expressed their worry or shown any sign of notice that the event happened. Except All for One.

"You may be wondering how I know," he began, his voice nonchalant. "Does the name Shukei Ushiromuki sound familiar?" It did. That was the name of my estranged father who had left my sister, my mom and I years ago. But, why did my father matter? I hardly knew anything about him but I did know I wanted nothing to do with him.

I didn't respond, but All for One continued with his explanation anyway. "Your father happened to have the same quirk as you, traveling back in time. I found it interesting, so I stole it." I didn't find this entirely shocking. All for One's quirk was he could steal others' quirks. If I knew somebody had a quirk like mine, I would steal it. Plus, it didn't matter much to me what happened to my dad anyway. He decided to leave us so I decided to leave him.

"By the time I had received it, I realized there was another condition to Ushiromuki-san's quirk that you had not received. He could detect when the world jumped back in time. He could remember," All for One explained. I tilted my head to the side. This didn't make sense. Whenever I went back in time, I could remember I did. So why did this matter?

"I see you are confused," All for One mused. He seemed to enjoy my bewilderment. "Your quirk did not inherit this trait. You only realize when you yourself go back in time, not others. I hadn't realized Ushiromuki-san's quirk had this trait until your quirk developed. Three times a day, I would go back in time one minute. You really used your quirk to the max," All for One chuckled. I shook. I knew where this was going, now.

"I didn't know who was sending me one minute back in time randomly every day. It had gotten annoying. But, I assumed the quirk was similar Ushiromuki-san, so it must have been somebody related to him. Without your knowledge, I had searched for you. I found you, confirmed my suspicions, then left you alone and went on my way. Every day I would sit through the random, one minute intervals and leave you be," All for One chuckled.

"But, why?" I asked, my voice quivering. "Why leave me with my quirk when you could have stolen it, just like my dad's?" It only made sense. If All for One had been annoyed with the use of my quirk, he could have just stolen it and gotten it over with. Why had he let me keep my quirk?

"You were young," he shrugged. "As simple as that. I did not want to steal a quirk from a child who used it for trivial things, even as an adult." He paused, tapping his chin with his large, burly hands. "But, when you traveled back in time, years and years, and started infringing on my property... it only seems right to come and confront you about it."

"My property," I recited in my head. He meant Tenko. All for One thought of Tenko as nothing but property. It infuriated me. "For example," All for One continued, "Say if you have a beautiful flower in your garden. You spent all your years nourishing it and making it grow just the way you want to, only for somebody to steal it, right out of your hands. Then, that person spends their time nourishing the flower into something else, instead of the way you had worked so hard to make it. Of course, you would be mad, right?" I was more mad about the fact that All for One was now referring to Tenko as a flower, similar to a lab project.

"Typically, I would have killed you by now," he said suddenly. I felt a wave of vomit and fear well up inside of me. I did not want to die, and if I did, would Tenko become the villain I feared him to be? Would All for One steal Tenko back, only to repeat the cycle and Shigaraki would just kill my sister once again? Everything I had worked for would be gone.
