Recruitment, Battle, & Amagi

Date: September 1st, 2024

The new enemy force led by Baby have begun to eclipse much of the multiverse but we won't be focusing on what that means for now. Right now, I'd like to focus on a special mission. You see, recruitment into BRAINS has slowed nearly to a stop, even more so than when we we were most busy in the war against Don Thousand. It is so massive now that it's actually had to shrink in membership. Many members were sent to a a brand new group tied to BRAINS directly that carries on the legacy of the Multiverse Defense Pact from the era of the Supreme Dark Lord's tyranny in 2019. It's called the Multiverse Defense Alliance. It's basically an organized military/peace keeping force that retains the decentralization found within BRAINS as well. Basically, those sent to it are members of BRAINS whose skills aren't advanced enough for what BRAINS needs right now. Other things are considered as well such as the impact of each individual member in the past. That means for example, that most of the GGO players recruited into BRAINS have been transferred over. Some BRAINS branches have been outright dissolved through this to make room for more specific recruits. Those branches are mostly ones that didn't have many members or were of universes whose BRAINS members were all transferred. The decentralization of BRAINS has allowed massive membership growth without instability but even it has limits. In the future, we will have more room but we don't right now. Most Mii World residents were kept from being part of BRAINS for these reasons but are now part of the MPA which is now technically an even more public front for BRAINS than the fake Infinity organization.

The special recruitment mission only required a small group to take part and I have most of the credit for it even happening due to recently watching Toward The Terra. That show features a type of special humans who are marginalized for hundreds of years with constant active plans to kill any who are detected. Humanity has left Earth for the stars under the rule of machines in it. When I saw the show, I just knew we had to get the group onboard. Any marginalized group just about resonates with me to an extent. They're known as the Mu and they have psyonic abilities. Telekinesis, telepathy, energy manipulation, energy blasts, the ability to shield themselves from the dangers of space and inhospitable worlds, you name it. Let's disregard the fact that I've been obsessed with one of their leaders, Jomi. He's my type after he ages several years and grows up following the first episode. The blend of kind, logical, caring, and confident that I find ideal. And his appearance overall too. But the main drive is his cape and personality for me. My obsession helped me realize we need the Mu as strange as that sounds. Once the special mission is over, I'm going to Amagi Brilliant Park to inform its board of a drastic shift that's about to happen. We'll get into that later. The recruitment takes priority over a plan to try to inject my creative energy as the creator, designer, and builder of the 80 roller coaster Wicked Parks Resort with Twisted Land as its main destination. Okay, let's get to how that mission went. We're going to skip details like planning the mission and getting ready for it. We're jumping straight to the moment myself and the other members of the small group arrived on Terra aka Earth in the Toward The Terra universe.

So where did we arrive? A short distance away from the 2 people I wanted to see. Jomī Mākisu Shin and Kīsu Anan. I speak first: "Right on time, there they are, meeting each other for the supposed first time. And now, they're crying. Give it about 15 more seconds and Jomi will invite Kisu to play with him and his friends. We mustn't interrupt their playtime. As we agreed, we will wait until they're done playing to talk to them." Bray nods: "Indeed. For now, let us watch them play. Should they notice us, we must appear as friendly as possible." Pirate Blaster adds: "Arr! That shouldn't be hard! When we aren't serious, we can be quite friendly! Even with you two, Swiftdrawer and Dominic!" I sweat drop: "That is a statement that's a joke and yet is true. Haha, very funny. Of course we're friendly, we care about other sentient beings and others. We give a damn unlike far too many people in my universe. Apathy is a bigger threat and even more widespread than hatred is there! Anyway. We all want to smile and laugh deep down so we should be good. But we cannot look suspicious. Let's hang out while observing them play just as we decided to do earlier." We avoid serious subjects as we find a place to sit down and converse amongst ourselves. Meanwhile, Jomi and Kisu are playing a ball game with other kids. This is going to be one hell of a mission due to the surge of emotions that are going to be unleashed. Basically, myself and the rest of the general "living in Miitopia posse" are involved in this mission. We are the small group in this one. Carlos has us cracking up with laughter, even getting me to laugh a lot. Just as the Sun begins to set, Jomi, Kisu, and the others stop playing and bid farewell to each other.
