This is an AU where instead of max it was will, and mike, eleven, johnathan, and argyle are with him. They are around 15-16

Wills pov

I was on top of a hill. The top of a grave yard hill to be exact. I needed to be alone for a bit. Knowing I only have a few more days makes me wanna collect all my thoughts. Until I'm gone. I glanced at the road, where mike, eleven and johnathan are. Argyle was no where to be seen though. I could tell mike was stressing out, as he was picking at his fingers and glancing over at me a lot. Eleven and johnathan were talking. About what? I don't know, but it seemed something serious.

Suddenly, they were all gone. The sky looked dark, and gloomy. Everything looked dead. It looked like the upside down. I looked around, nervously. Suddenly a dark figure walked up to me. It looked alot like mike. As soon at it reached me, I recognized him. It was mike. Suddenly he started to laugh in my face.

"You thought I actually loved you?" He said. I was confused. Mike had been my boyfriend for 3 years, was he just pretending? "What?" I asked, confused. "Will, I never loved you. Your just a useless gay fairy." He said, snickering. My expression changed fast. What? What's was wrong with him?

Then I noticed him changing. Changing into vecna. My first instinct was to run. I ran as fast as i could. I didnt turn back. The sky started to turn red. I slowed down. I glanced around, confused. There seemed to be something in the middle. It looked like dead trees. As a approached, I saw bodies on them. They were dead. Chrissy and Fred. Did this mean I was next?

Mikes pov
I stood up, as I noticed Will was in the same position for a few minutes. "I'm going to check on him." I said, starting to walk over. "But he said he wanted to be alone." Said eleven. I stopped and turned around. "I don't care, I'm going to check if he's okay." I said, starting to walk up the hill again. When I reached him I noticed his eyes going into the back of his head. "Will? Will are you okay?"  I asked him, shaking him. No response. I shaked him harder. Nothing. I screamed for eleven and Johnathan.

Eleven pov
I suddenly heard a walkie talkie in the passenger seat. I watched Johnathan run up to mike. I quickly grabbed the walkie. "What? Did you guys figure out anything?" I asked. "Yeah we did! So it seems that music is connected with this, to give the person an opening to leave, you need to play their favorite song." Said Robin on the other line. "Holy shit, thank you guys, perfect timing." I said, putting the walkie down. I quickly grabbed the Walkman and a few cassette tapes. I ran up to the others.

"What took you so long !" Yelled mike. "Shut up mike! What's wills favorite song?" I yelled back. "What's does his favorite song have to do with this?" He asked. "No time to explain, JUST TELL ME!" I screamed at him. I held out the cassette tapes. He grabbed should I stay or should I go. He shoved the tape in the Walkman and put it on Will. Suddenly Will started floating. "Holy shit!" Yelled Mike.

Wills pov

I suddenly saw vecna in the distance. I attempted to get away again, but he grabbed my leg and pulled me. He tied me to one of those dead looking trees. I could barley breath. He put his hand, or claw, or whatever it was over my face. I knew it. It was all over. Then the sound of music rang in my ears.

Darling, you got to let me know, should I stay or should I go?

Vecna turned his head, confused. His grip loosen on one of my hands. I quickly ripped one of his..things. The thing that was holding me down. He let go of me, and backed up in pain. I dropped to the floor. I stood up as fast as I could. I quickly started running away from vecna. It seemed vecna had noticed. The familiar toon rang in my ears.

If you say that you are mine, I'll be here until the end of time.

I felt stuff fall behind me. Vecna must be trying to kill me. The problem was that everything was slippery. So it was hard for me to run. I tried to run as fast as I could, but I ended up falling. I got up at quickly as I could. I felt things dropping RIGHT behind me. It sent chills up my spine. I finally reached the end of it.

Mikes pov

My mind was all over the place. Was this actually going to work? Or was I going to loose the love of my life. I felt my eyes tear up, thinking of the thought of him dying. Suddenly, Will came falling down. I quickly ran to catch him. But, I wasn't that strong, so we both fell to the ground. Will looked at me with pure terror in his eyes. He hugged me tightly. I sighed of relief.

Will was shaking in my arms. I couldnt imagine how scary it was for him, I mean, he could have died. "It's okay will, your okay." I said to him. I kissed the top of his head. He lifted his head to me. "Mike?" He asked, his voice shaking. "Yes?" I said. "Do you still love me?" He asked, his voice cracking at the end. "What? Of course I do! Why do you ask?" I said. "Nothing. I just wanna get away from here." He said, starting to stand up. I stood up as well.

We all walked down the hill, argyle was back in his car, smoking weed. Eleven, me and will all got in the back. Will was still nervous. I could tell since he was holding my hand, tightly. I turned to eleven. "How did you know what to do?" I asked. Eleven looked up. "Huh? Oh, when you and Johnathan left, I heard a voice coming from the walkie. It was Robin and Nancy. They had found out how to save someone." She said, smiling. "Holy shit, we got lucky." I said, glancing at will. "Maybe he should keep playing that song over and over, so vecna stays away." I said. Eleven nodded.
