y/n introduction

I love the ocean wholeheartedly, from before I could talk my connection with it stronger than anything. I find myself mesmerised by the waves, easing any worries or negative thoughts that cloud my head. I spend restless nights admiring the calmness of it all, the still sky gleaming with thousands of stars as the waves crash onto the shore. I cannot imagine a greater peace.

I do not wish anything but to be with the sea. The ocean completes me.

My mother had passed away from illness when I was only young, not old enough to fend for myself. My father was always away, he was a warrior. He lived to fight for our clan and died doing so. Since then my clan has showed me great sympathy, rather than having my parents to raise me, the whole village has over the years, providing me with the necessities of food and clothing. I was nicknamed the child of Awa'atlu. For this I am forever grateful.

Our leader, Tonowari and his mistress Ronal often check up on me. They have put in the most effort to look after me, reminding me a lot of my parents. They had encouraged their children to befriend me out of pity years ago. Surprisingly I enjoy their company, I had made the strongest friendship with their daughter, Tsireya. And with their son, Ao'nung, I had my first kiss with. I laugh at it now, we were only young then. They bring out great joy in me.
