It's been a whole month since leon and I started dating, nobody but connor has figured it out and he's been great and has kept it a secret lauren doesn't even know but I think her and grace are starting to figure it out.

When they had gotten back from the road trip and we met them at the airport I hugged him longer than I would have before.

They're back on the road for just a few days for a battle of Alberta and then facing Vancouver then when they get back they face Seattle.

Right now I'm out Christmas shopping with grace, Lauren and breanne. We're all doing a secret Santa plus actual gifts. I'm going all out this year especially for leon.

"So you're getting him new sheets, heated mattress pad, blankets and pillows?" Grace asks as we stand in line at bed bath and beyond. "Yes oh and this coffee machine since his is old" I add. "You getting him anything else?" Lauren asks.

I nod "yeahhhh I saw this watch I think he'd like" I answer. Grace raises her eyebrows "that's some girlfriend type shit" she says. "We're just friends" I lie. "Then why can't I know what's in the locket you wear? And play with while we're watching games specifically when he is on the ice" she questions.

Crap. "She does do that, I also noticed that when we were meeting them at the airport he kissed her neck when they hugged" lauren says. They both gasp and look at me. "You are with leon aren't you?" Grace asks.

Sighing I nod "yeahhh we just wanted to be a secret for a bit" I answer. "Well when you look at each other like you're madly in love it doesn't help" grace says.

"Oh uh you two and connor are the only ones that know so far" I tell them. Lauren gasps "what? And he didn't tell me?" She asks. "I asked him not to, now that we're secure we're ok with people figuring it out" I answer.

They both nod understanding "I get that" grace says. "Me too, so when did you become a thing?" Lauren asks. "Uh you know that party at your place?" I ask. "The one where you disappeared for a weird amount of time?" She asks.

I laugh and nod "yes, we were gone because we had gotten into a small fight and then he told me how he felt" I tell them. "And that's why you've been weirdly happy since" grace says. "Yup" I confirm.

We finish at that store and go to a jewelry store where I get him a watch, one for my dad and a necklace and earring set for my mom.

After we finish shopping we go for lunch then split off before they all come over to watch the game but for now it's just bowie and I.

My phone starts ringing. Leon on facetime. I quickly answer and he's on the bus going to the arena. "Hey leo" I greet. "Hey babe" he replies. "Got your airpods in?" I assume. "Yeah and it's just connor beside me" he answers showing connor beside him.

Connor notices and waves "heyo" he waves. "Uh so he's not the only one that knows now" I tell him. "who figured it out?" He asks. "Grace and lauren" I answer. "Oh ok, uh stuart saw my lockscreen earlier and figured it out" he tells me. "Oh ok that's fine, we went christmas shopping and I got you a bunch of stuff" I reply.

"Yeah?" He asks. I nod excitedly "I did but I'm gonna wrap them before you get home so you can't see them" I answer. "Guess I've gotta do some shopping after practice tomorrow" he says.
