February 10th 2023

I patiently stand waiting in the airport. Leon had the all star weekend and I sadly couldn't attend because of all of the homework I had to mark but we facetimed when we could. Grace couldn't go either but she was also face timing stuart all the time.

Grace comes back from tim hortons and hands me an iced capp "I got you the red eye" she says. "Great thank you" I reply. The red eye has a shot of espresso in it, its truely a wonderful thing.

A few minutes later they come walk
ing out and leon drops his bags when he gets closer then he lifts me up in a hug "I've missed you" he whispers.

My legs go around his waist and I hug him tightly "I missed you too" I whisper. He lifts his head and pecks my lips "let's go home" he whispers.

He puts me back down and picks his bags up then the four of us leave the airport. "We've gotta drop Stuart's stuff of then we'll be at the apartment to move our stuff" grace says. "Okay we'll meet you there" I reply.

We drop Leon's bags off then drive over to the apartment to get the last few things that I need to move. I didn't spend my whole weekend marking homework I moved most of my stuff over to Leon's because I don't want to wait any longer.

The few boxes and my bed and bed frame slip right into the back of Leon's truck. He closes the back then turns to me "you ready for our new chapter?" He asks.

Nodding I lean up and peck his lips "I am" I whisper. He smiles and cups the sides of my face "me too" he whispers. His thumb rubs my cheek gently and he rests his head against mine "sadie I love you" he whispers. I smile "leon I love you too" I whisper back.

Our moment is interrupted by grace coughing. "I'll miss being your roomie" she says. "We still work together" I remind her. "So? I've got issues" she jokes hugging me.

I laugh and hug her quickly "true" I reply. "We'll see you later anyway" leon says. "Oh yeah I forgot about the game" she laughs. Stuart chuckles "I hope you didn't forget we're going for dinner before the game" he says.

She rolls her eyes "of course I didn't forget" she says. "Good" he replies then kisses the top of her head. "So we'll see you guys later" I tell them.

Leon and I get in the truck and drive off. Before we left the apartment we left the keys on the counter and grace and I said good bye. Everything is gone and in our mens trucks.

"Bowies going to be so happy to have his mom with him more" he says. I smile "I'm happy already" I tell him. He kisses the back of my hand since he's driving "wanna get married?" He asks casually.

My heart starts thumping and the thoughts consume me. "Wh-what?" I ask. He smiles and his thumb rubs my ring finger "married, like mr. And mrs draisaitl" he says. "Like when?" I ask confused. He shrugs "sometime within the next year" he answers.
