Kalyani stepped into the tattoo parlor, quickly noticing the pretty blonde male who was tattooing a guy's arm. She then glanced over to the male at the counter, noticing his loose short sleeved shirt that was exposing the small tattoos on his shoulder.

He looked at her oddly, wondering what she was here to get as she came up to the counter. "You guys hiring?" she asked calmly, rolling up her sleeves before exposing the tattoos on her arms as he looked around to his co-workers who heard what she said.

"Ty, you should let her try out. She doesn't look too bad." the blonde male she was looking at earlier spoke first as "Ty" chuckled. "Tyong, don't you see her? She can bring in customers!" the other with black hair said as she grinned while rolling her eyes.

"Oh I definitely brought in a lot of customers back at home." she spoke confidently when she spoke, meeting Ty's eyes before looking away to the two men who spoke. "You're not from here?" he asked her and watched her move her finger from side to side.

"Not at all love. I just moved here, so I would kinda appreciate it if you can give me a straight answer right now so I don't have to waste my time." Kalyani said, hearing the other two employees laugh at Ty's reaction. "Alright, alright! Just come with me." he scoffed and turned on his heel as she followed him.

"Were you recommended here or something?" he asked her, opening the door to his office and letting her in before closing it. "My new cute roommate said his friends were working here. I just wanted to check it out to see if I could work here." Kalyani glanced over to the pictures that were hung up against the wall. "I'm guessing you three are his friends."

"Was it Ten? I heard he had someone new living with him."

"Yup." she said. "I'm Kalyani, it's nice to meet you." she held out her hand for him to shake as he reached his hand out and shook it. "Taeyong, the blonde one over there is Yuta, the other is Johnny." Taeyong said as she slowly nodded her head. "Have you three been working with each other for a long time?"

"Yeah, we started off as friends since high school and then we all just decided to get a random tat, then it just started from there." she chuckled at the cute story. "So did you do everything that's on your arms right now?" Taeyong was curious, if he was going to hire, he had to know if she was actually worth it.

"Most of them actually, especially the ones on my legs. It's pretty easy when you can do everything with both hands."

"Both hands? Sometimes I still struggle with my right hand." Taeyong said with a laugh while she shook her head. "It gets easier when you do it a lot." Kalyani spoke in a teasing tone. "I'm guessing you got a lot of clients."

"Oh I definitely did."

Kalyani laughed at the message her new co-worker sent before turning off her phone. She was back at the house and Ten was no where in sight. She figured he must've left to go to work so she just decided to stay in her room and not cause any trouble.

"It's so peaceful here." she mumbled to herself until she felt her phone vibrate. Kalyani flipped her phone over and saw an unknown number calling her. She decided to be nosey and answer it, after all, she just thought it was just a random scam number until she heard her mother's voice.

"Benjakalyani?! Where did you go? Don't you know that we're all scared for you?! Why did you run away from us?!" Kalyani heard her mother start speaking in language, sighing as she knew that all she was going to hear was her mother asking questions.

"Mom, why are you asking why I ran away? You and Dad are the main reason why I did it in the first place! Stop trying to call me. I don't want any of you calling me just to remind me why I left. You trapped me for so long and you never payed attention to me unless I "acted out" so please, leave me alone."

"You're just giving excuses, I gave you a roof over your head and food to eat. None of your sisters ever acted like this." Kalyani couldn't believe it, she was being compared to her sisters even while she wasn't home. "That's because i'm not a fucking ass kisser like them, good bye."

She then hung up the phone and dropped it on her bed before sighing. Kalyani felt a presence near her. "Didn't know you knew how to speak mandarin." Ten said, putting a plate of food on her desk as she chuckled. "I'm half Chinese and I speak a lot of languages if you wanted to know." she mumbled, suddenly feeling tired.

"Also if you understood any of that, keep it to yourself. Please."

"What even is mandarin?" Ten jokingly said as he watched a smile form on her lips. "You're funny." Kalyani said before taking the plate of food and setting it on her lap. "Uh a few of my friends are coming over so do you want me to close your door?"

"Yes please, thank you."

"It's no problem, Kalyani."
