It took a whole day for Kion to get better, but when he was, everyone started walking toward the Pridelands, but at a slow pace, because it was hard for Kion to walk.
Baliyo was walking next to Rani. "You ok sis?" He asked. "No! Kion is slowing us down," She growled. "He's hurt Rani," Baliyo replied.
"So! When I got clawed on my leg! I didn't stop from walking," Rani growled. "Rani, a piece of Kion's flesh is gone," Baliyo said. Rani rolled her eyes.
"Guys we're here!" Kion shouted. Rani ran up next to him. "Really!" "Yes," Kion replied. Rani ran ahead. "You don't even know where you're going!" Kion shouted. "Don't try to control me!" Rani shouted back.
Kion rolled his eyes and kept walking. He couldn't wait to see his family again.
Rani ran forward. She saw an enormous rock. She gasped. Kion walked up to her. "That's Priderock," He said. Rani walked forward.
Kion, Rani, the Lion Guard, Night Pride, Sahasi and Ananda arrived at Priderock.
Simba, Nala, and Kiara noticed Kion. They ran to him and hugged him. Kion roared in pain.
"Kion, what's wrong?" Simba asked. "My stomach hurts. I was attacked by a cougar," Kion explained, still in pain.
"WHAT!" Kiara shouted. Kion nodded. "Are you feeling better?" Nala asked. "Yes," Kion replied.
"Hi Sahasi, Ananda," Simba bowed his head. "Simba," Sahasi also bowed his head.
"Who are they?" Nala asked.
"Our daughter Rani, our son Baliyo, Nirmala and Surak," Sahasi explained. Simba nodded.
"Oh right, you need a place to sleep. We don't have any free dens, or room in Priderock, but you can sleep in the Lion Guard lair," Nala said.
"Thank you," Ananda smiled. Kion led them to the lion guard lair.
"Woah! This is beautiful!" Ananda gasped. "Thank you," Kion smiled, "Feel free to sleep anywhere." Ananda and Sahasi cuddled up in the corner, Baliyo slept to the back, Rani slept near the ledge that Kion sits on, Surak went to the side, and so did Nirmala.
Kion climbed up to the ledge, and drifted off to sleep.
Rani tossed and turned, but she just couldn't sleep. It was weird not sleeping at home. Rani stood up and walked outside.
Kion's ears perked up. He heard pawsteps. Kion looked up and saw Rani leaving. Kion jumped off the rock and followed her.
Rani went to a grassy field. She layed down on her back and looked up at the stars. Suddenly, the stars dissapeared.
Rani looked up and saw Kion standing over her. "What are you doing?" Kion asked, "You should be sleeping." Rani growled and pushed him off her. She sat up.
"I can't sleep," Rani admitted. "Why not?" Kion asked. "It's none of your business now leave me alone!" Rani growled. She stormed off toward Priderock, but Kion held her tail down.
"Rani, I know you don't like me, and I'm not very fond of you, but I'm here for you. You saved my life, I owe you. Maybe I can help you fall asleep," Kion said.
Rani sighed and sat down, "For the record, I hate you." Kion chuckled. "It's weird being in a new kingdom," Rani said. "But you were so excited to come here?" Kion raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah, but to be honest, it's scary sleeping in a place you've never been before," Rani admitted. "I have some experience with that. It was kinda weird going into other lion's territory without permission," Kion said.
Rani sighed. Kion put his paw on her shoulder. "Hey get your paws off me!" Rani growled. Rani snarled at Kion and walked back to Priderock. Kion followed.
Rani layed down by her parents, and Kion went to his ledge. "Lionesses are so confusing," Kion sighed. He went to sleep.
