Chapter 4: Sickness

•Bryn P.O.V•

I awoke from the darkness that had engulfed me earlier, I opened my eyes as the brightness spilled into my eyes like water. Once I adjusted I looked around, "this isn't where I was before." I mumbled to myself as I sat up, the second I became upright my head became clouded and rather painful, so I lay back. Suddenly a man came to me, looking me in the eyes with a concerned look painted on his face. My eyes adjusted to this blurred figure in front of me and I realised I knew him, it was Avi; his beautiful emerald eyes glistening in the sunlight pouring through the window.

•Avi P.O.V•
I was risen from my slumber as I heard her heart monitor getting faster, gradually bringing me back to consciousness. I rushed to her side, her beautiful auburn hair mixing with light of the sun making it slightly more ginger. "Are you alright, Bryn?" I said gazing into her glorious blue eyes, with specks of purple glimmering with her hair. She nodded and smiled weakly at me, her pain shot through me, why did I have such strong feelings for a stranger? "I can leave if you want me too, I just didn't want you to-"
"Avi" she said, her throat hoarse,"I want you to be here, more than anything else, but don't you have things you'd rather be doing, you hardly know me!" Her voice raised at the end, causing it to crack.
"I... I don't know why, but I feel like I've know you forever, I.. I don't know what it is about you... But I don't want to leave your side... Ever." I said as her mouth curled to a smile, and I smiled back, feeling content for making her happy.

<Next Week (sorry bout time jump)>

•Bryn P.O.V•
I missed the flight back to the UK as it was that Wednesday... And today was Friday, Avi offered to let me stay with him. Avi and I had gotten closer during my time in the hospital, and I feel as if I've known him forever, like we have always been great friends. "You won't be any hassle Bree, c'mon I'm offering!" He pleaded me to stay at his place.
"Avi, I feel like a nuisance!" I replied, quite honestly too, I hate being in somebody else's house and not my own.
"You will be a nuisance..." He said, and I frowned "but you'll be my nuisance... And nothing could make me happier, please Bree!!" He said, practically screaming at me. I huffed and sighed before I finally said yes, it was reluctant but I was glad to spend the time with him.

I was sitting in his car, and he drove to his house, I rested my arm on the centre and was shocked by his fingers, intertwining with mine, the heat building between us as her turned to me at a traffic light. "I couldn't think of anyone better to be my nuisance other than you." He said smiling as he inched closer, removing the space between us I had urged to be removed multiple times before.
