"Kiss me hard before you go, Summertime Sadness."
⚠️IN THIS STORY, LEVI WILL BE 27 YEARS OLD. ERWIN WILL BE 35
——————
Before securing my horse in the stables, I snuck back up to my room carefully, trying to not make a single sound as I did so.
I planned to get dressed into something comfortable and sneak back down into my father's office to oversee Scout business and continue my investigation.
When I made it to my room, I slowly shut the door, making a beeline for my closet.
My room isn't really anything special, the only impressive aspect being the Queen sized bed my dad insisted on installing.
I threw the cellar keys on my desk as I opened up the closet. My eyes quickly scanned the wardrobe and I decided on a T-shirt I had stolen from Levi not too long ago and shorts.
I quickly threw the outfit on, the smell of men's aftershave being particularly obvious. It was undeniable that Levi really knows his perfume.
I slowly stepped out my room, not forgetting to slowly and silently lock the door. Mikasa's room was just opposite mine; waking her up would result in an hour long lecture about the importance of sleep. Sasha's door was the one next to me, I could swear I hear her mumbling about food right now. I ignored it and continued down the hallway, passing Historia's room as I did so.
Poor girl, I still wonder how she's coping with Ymir's disappearance. I guess I'll check up on her some time soon. I then descended the multiple steps and finally exited the women's barracks.
When I finally made it to the office, I made sure to slowly open and close the door. Levi's office was just opposite Erwin's and I could guarantee you he'd be awake.
My back still turned to the door, I let out a relieved sigh. 'That wasn't so hard...'I smiled to myself.
"Where were you?"
Upon instinct, I jumped, turning around to see Levi sitting comfortably in Erwin's office chair.
"Levi! Hey! I was..." I dragged out, trying to find a suitable lie that would be at least the slightest bit believable.
"I was with Mikasa. In her dorm. We were just talking about...stuff?" I spluttered, trying to make myself sound convincing, but that turned out terribly.
