"Forgiving who you are, for what you stand to gain."

I was riding in a wagon with Levi, Hange and Mikasa. The others were riding there respective horses. I was also filling them in on everything.

"So you're saying Titans can be passed via consuming someone with the Titan?" Hange asked me quizzically. To that I nodded.

"And who told you all this?" Levi asked narrowing his eyes slightly.

"My sister did." I muttered, turning my head to the right slightly.

"Also heard about the Ackerman clan. Specifically Kenny Ackerman." I spoke, looking to Mikasa.

"He might be a relative of yours." Levi chipped in.

Mikasa also took a deep breath before speaking.

"I heard from my parents when they were alive
that my dad's side, the Ackermans, were persecuted in the cities. My mom's family was Oriental, so being a different race meant they didn't fit in anywhere. Both were people chased deep in the mountains near the edge of the walls, so that's how they met and married. But I never found out why the Ackermans were persecuted. My dad didn't seem like a
different race like my mom was." She informed us, tucking her knees into her body.

After all the years I've known Mikasa, I've noticed that that's her form of dealing with situations. Her coping mechanism if you will.

"Has there ever been a moment where it's felt like power suddenly awakened inside you?" Levi asked, looking Mikasa in the eye.

I froze. I realised that this wasn't my conversation and decided to stay out of it for the time being.

"There has."

"Kenny Ackermann had a moment like that, too. One time, out of nowhere, he felt an absurd amount of strength surging within him and he knew exactly what he had to do. I've felt moments like that, too." Levi spoke in his usual voice.

I widened my eyes slightly.

Could Levi be an Ackerman? I shook away my thoughts, only to find Levi looking straight at me.

"And you," Levi referred to me.

"We're going to have to make a decision. You or Historia will succeed the throne."
