A week has gone by since, lying to your coworkers about your interactions had been relativly easy, it's not like they expected this case to be solved quick anyways. Now and then they'd check up on how you were doing progress wise, and you had fallen into a habit of telling them he was too elusive, and you didn't have any leads. The entire opposite was true, you knew exactly where to find him. You wanted to see Dostoyevsky again, but were stuck in a form of procrastination.

If you kept going like this you'd eventually have to choose between following Fyodor, or staying with the ADA. It's a secure job, good payments, nice people who genuinely care for you, what more can you possibly wish for. You didn't want to take your current position for granted, but your infatuation towards him had only grown, even when you didn't speak much. Such a beautiful mind. Could you possibly tell anyone? If only there was anyone who would understand. If you were to end up leaving with Fyodor, shouldn't you at the very least tell your collegues that you don't want to be rescued? Day after day, you went mad trying to search your brain for answers that didn't exist, there was no "right" answer.

Here you are again, going against all the common sence in you. another day, another roof top. "I allmost thought you lost interest." Fyodor appeared from behind a billboard. "I've had a hard time coming to terms with all of this" you sighed, as you stepped a little closer. Only now can you truely appreciate his height, as you look up to his face from you place beside him. The two of you stared at eachother for a while, he's absolutely gorgeous, both inside and out. He reached out a hand, placing it carefully at your cheek. And at last, what you had longed for, what you had feared so deeply took place. A small, delecate kiss was placed on your lips. Soon after you rest your head against his chest, so he wouldn't be able to see your embarrassment. "What is wrong with you" you scold to yourself, loosing your first kiss to a murderer, is this really the life my parents would want for me? You take a few steps back and block the current turmoil inside of you, you'll have more time to question your existence when you'd get back.

"I have a proposition for you" he began " i will have to switch hideouts in a couple days. If you choose to come with me, i can give you a place alongside me as I rid this world of all its sins." He took a long breath "if you choose to stay with the ADA, i will respect that. Just know that i won't hesitate to kill you, next time we cross paths. We might be acquaintances, but my purpose is bigger than my personal feelings." You had expected this, you had always knew it would come to this, but that didn't make it any easier. You had taken plenty of time to ponder over every single detail of your conversations as you attempted to fall asleep. It goes without saying that you were unsuccessful.

You released a shaky breath, deep inside you already knew that you'd choose him, but you kept hanging on to the hope that you would change your mind. You nodded, showing you understood his offer. "Meet me here in two days, if you are nowhere to be seen, well, in that case, i'm sorry for your loss." He turned around, and let himself fall of the roofstop. Running to the edge, staring to the ground in fear of seeing his lifeless body, but he was nowhere in sight. A true mystery, you couldn't help yourself the get cought up in. Would you be able to untangle it's wires, or get stuck trying?
