Temporary Chill

Farewell fair sun, oh beautiful daylight

Waiting for your return, we'll miss you dear

Enter and cast your shadows, lingering night

The world is sleeping, let your snow appear

After a deep frosty sigh, the land falls silent

The last of the flowers meets her demise

The first snowflake falls, a beautiful diamond

Blankets coat aging forests, old and wise

The coldness of winter, the harbinger of death

Must make room for new life, nature's grim reaper

White as the world's blank canvas

Create a new masterpiece, talented painter

For the death of each flower a new one will bloom

Long nights aren't eternal, spring will arrive soon
