Insecure

Prompt: You being insecure about your body and looks meaning you let no one see it.

Y/N POV:

As I'm doing sit ups I see my wife Scar come into the room causing me to stop.

"Good Morning babe." I say drinking some water
"Good Morning my love." She says giving me a kiss
"Everything okay?" I asks sitting Indian style
"Yeah, I'm about to cook some brunch, and the casts invited us at the beach and I already told them yeah. You okay with that." She tells me and I nod
"Yeah, that's fine. I'll meet you downstairs Imma take a shower." I say as she helps me off the floor
"Ok." She says giving me a kiss

We out the workout room hand in hand before splitting ways. I grab an oversized shirt, panties and some of Scarlett's sweatpants.

I walk into our bathroom locking the door, turning on the shower and some soft music before waiting to let the mirror fog up. Although it's still foggy I avoid undressing in front of the mirror.

For personal reasons.

20 minute later

I get out the shower drying off before putting on the clothes I bought in here and wrapping my hair in a towel.

"Baby, the food is done!" I hear Scarlett yell
"Coming right out." I say loudly picking up my dirty clothes

I put them in the dirty clothes basket before making my way downstairs to the kitchen.

"I made breakfast sandwiches." She says as I give her a kiss
"Thank you." I say sitting next to her
"Your welcome, also while you were in the shower i packed up the things we'll need and putting it in the car." She says eating her food and i nod
"The kids still at your moms?" I asks and she nods as we eat

20 minutes later

I clean the dishes as she goes to start getting dressed. I walk to our room seeing her getting ready at our vanity, I give her a kiss before heading to the bathroom doing my skincare routine.

"Babe?" Scar says coming to my side
"Yeah?" I asks staring at her
"You okay? You seem more quiet than usual." She comments coming closer to my side
"Mhm. I'm fine. You almost done?" I asks changing the subject as I moisturize my curly/wavy hair
"I'll be done in a few. I love you." She says smiling softly
"I love you more." I say returning the smile

She walks out the bathroom as I finish getting my appearance ready causing me to sigh.

I walk to our closet grabbing a two piece, a slightly bigger cropped hoodie and loose fitting sweatpants.

I get dressed while also putting on some sunscreen and deodorant.

"I'm ready." I say sitting on our bed
"I'm almost done." She says and i nod

I grab a tote bag putting me and scar a hair clip in it, a book for me and our sunglasses.

"Ok I'm ready let's go." She says smiling softly
"Wait come here." I say motioning her over
"Yeah?" She stopping in front of me
"Did you put on sunscreen?" I asks holding her hand and she nods and pulls me up

We walk out the house, she opens the door for me before getting in the driver side.
She starts driving heading to the beach while holding my hand.

Time Skip

Scar just parked the car and we see the casts just pulling up also. I grab some our things and so does Scar as we head towards the beach following the casts. We find a spot and the men sets up a shade area, the women then put down the towels and chairs before we all get comfortable. I sit on my towel Indian style reading one of favorite books, 'Concrete Rose'.

"Babe?" I hear Scar says sitting in front of me
"Yeah." I say closing my book giving her my attention
"You not hot? Wait let me rephrase that, are you not hot temperature wise?" She says causing me to blush
"No, I'm fine. Scar." I say looking at her up and down
"What?" She asks tilting her head
"Nothing, you're just nice to admire." I say smiling causing her to blush looking down
"Can you please take off this?" She asks nicely pointing to my sweatpants and crop top
"Mmmm ok." I say hesitantly

I stand up pulling off my hoodie and sweatpants leaving me in my two piece bathing suit.

"Wow." Scar says as I sit back down
"Better?" I asks running my fingers through my hair
"I don't know. Yes and No." Scarlett says making me laugh

"Damn y/n. Nice physic." Brie says causing everyone to look at me
"Thanks?" I say feeling self conscious

"It's okay baby you look beautiful inside and out." Scar says sitting behind me
"Thank you." I say getting shy as I lean back into her touch

I love her so much.
