"You're pathetic. I can't believe you walked out of there without a damn kiss." Austin scoffed, disappointed.
Skye, expecting to receive judgement, hung his head in shame as he sat on the couch with Austin and Jessica next to him.
"Did you not feel comfortable or something?" Jess asked, confused.
"No, I felt... really content there. As if it was a routine thing for us to do." Skye admitted, pulling his knees to his chest so that his chin rested on them. "I don't know why I hesitated..."
"Because you're pathetic, as I said." Austin reinstated, only to see Jess scowl at him.
"Maybe you aren't ready for that kind of contact just yet. This is your first time dating in years. I can see why you would be unsure." Jess comforted.
"But someone like him... Like Ros? I'd be on him like glue. He wouldn't be able to get me off." Austin proclaimed with certainty. "He's too fucking fine to just be cautious and shy."
"Not everyone is a sex fiend like you, Austin." Jess grumbled with irritation.
"You make me sound like a fuck boi. I choose my partners wisely. Whether that be short or long term. I just move much faster than most people."
"You also hate commitment." Skye chimed in slyly, looking over with a smirk.
"Hey... I like to share and share alike. I'm a wild one. Free spirit. I can't be tied down." Austin said with pride.
"You're also fickle and can't help but hop from one guy to the next." Jess said with a smirk of her own.
"I hop from the next attractive man to the next. Get it right." Austin rebutted.
"Subjective." Skye rebutted with a grin.
"I know Ros isn't subjective. His fineness is a fact." Austin stated.
"I... don't want to rush this. I like the pace it's moving in. I mean, we've technically have only been on 2 dates. I'm just getting used to him." Skye spoke calmly.
"That's reasonable. I mean, we haven't seen how he acts around other people either. He could be very different." Jess added.
"We should invite him out! He gave us total access to the club through his friend, which is so awesome!" Austin chimed happily.
"I don't know if I want to go to a club with him honestly." Skye replied, his face frowning at the idea.
"I actually like this idea..." Jess stated, thinking it over. "It's a crowded place, out in the open, loud, and the patrons are probably ridiculously flirty. You can see how he is under those circumstances, as well as how he handles meeting us."
"It will give you some insight into how he is outside of his bubble. Don't want to be with a crazy person." Austin spoke with slight concern. "I also want to see if he dances." He admitted with a smirk, only to see Jess roll her eyes.
"I'll... ask him." Skye finally stated, seeing both his friends shout in excitement.

Once the two of them had left the loft, Skye quietly sat in his room contemplating just how he should ask Ros out. They had briefly texted with each other since their last encounter 5 days ago, but Ros had mentioned that he would be working 6 straight days since then. From what it seemed; he would happen to be free Saturday evening.
