He was on autopilot, having quickly gotten dressed and practically running out of his apartment building. Skye was trying to recall exactly what happened last night, but everything was practically a blur. He quickly dived into the metro station located underground onto the green line, where he would be making his way to switch lines to Dupont Circle.

"There's no way... I didn't do that. I'm not that stupid..." he thought to himself, not realizing that he was tightly winding a strand of his hair as he thought it over. The only thing he could remember was dancing and taking shots with the group, before waking up in bed.

"But why would anyone say that if it didn't occur?" Skye mulled quietly, just growing more anxious by the second. Once he reached Metro Center, he quickly made his way through the maze of different floors for platforms and hopped on the next red line train to Dupont. It was empty, assuming other party crowds from last night were still resting, or people hadn't finished their brunch runs just yet. Lucky for him, there were no delays for the trains, so he got to the station without any issues. He immediately made his way to the one place that he knew in the area to find the person he wanted.

-

He stared at the intercom panel for quite some time, wondering if he was an idiot for coming straight here without any warning.

"What... am I even going to say to him?" Skye muttered nervously, his hands fidgeting in his pockets. "Is he even home yet?"

After a few more seconds, he finally pressed the button for Ros' condo, hearing it dial right after. A few seconds passed, before a sound was heard.

"Did you forget something, Duran?" Ros' voice said in an exasperated manner. Skye just stood there in silence, unsure of how to respond.

"Is... anyone there?" Ros asked, now puzzled.

"Ros..." Skye spoke, loud enough for him to hear through the speaker.

Before he even had the opportunity to say another word, he heard the intercom end, before he heard the click of the security door, signaling that it was open for him to enter.

-

It didn't take long for Skye to reach the front door, having memorized how to get to Ros' condo from his previous visit. As he stepped out of the elevator, he had come to stand directly in front of the door. Taking a small sigh, he reached up to knock, only to see the door swing open swiftly before his knuckles could even touch it. Ros was standing there, surprised. His glasses were on his face, his dark brown hair a little matted to his forehead, as it appeared somewhat damp. He had on a simple long-sleeve white shirt with grey sweatpants. He seemed slightly out of breath as he stared back at Skye, his eyes still wide in shock.

Skye stared back, the reality of just where he was sinking in. He was suddenly incredibly nervous.

"Skye... what are you doing here?" Ros finally asked, trying to calm himself down as he did so. He looked as if he had just gotten out of the shower by the time Skye had pressed the button on his intercom, then quickly threw something on.

As if his mind had gone entirely blank, Skye just watched Ros standing in the doorway, looking like a deer in headlights.

Ros watched him intently just the same, before titling his head slightly to his right as his face shifted from surprise to concern. "Skye... are you alright?"

Without much warning, Skye suddenly gave a very proper Japanese bow, hanging his head down slightly. "I am incredibly sorry!" he blurted out, keeping his gaze to the floor.
