Joyce has always been a morning person. Ever since she was a little girl, she would always wake up early, sometimes even before the sun was up in the sky. With Hopper, he was way different. He HATED waking up early in the morning. Sometimes, when Joyce was up at 5, Hopper would wake up hours later. The latest he's ever gotten out of bed was 1 in the afternoon. He loved his sleep.

Joyce always had trouble waking her husband up in the mornings. She's had this problem even when they were best friends in high school. By now, she was a pro at waking her husband up.

She walked quietly into their bedroom, softly closing the door behind her and locking it. Joyce peered at her husband who was softly snoring into his pillow, laying on his stomach, hugging her pillow. She giggled and padded softly to the bed before climbing on top of him making him groan.

Joyce bent down and kissed his cheek before whispering, "Hop. Baby, wake up. It's 10."

Hopper grumbled something as he turned his head and buried his face into his pillow. Joyce giggled and bit her lip, "Baby, pleaseee. Wake up. I'm so lonely." She whined as she sat up on his back causing him to groan. She traced the marks on his back she had made the night before as an idea popped up in her head.

Joyce huffed and slipped off his back, "Fine. Suit yourself." She started to say as she slowly walked away. Hopper slowly turned his head, opening one eye to look at his wife.

"I'm going to take a shower." She stated, grabbing her towel from the seat at her vanity. "I was going to ask you to join me but...I guess I'll have to take one by myself."

Hopper's eyes flew open and he jumped out of bed. "No! I'm up! I'm up!"

Joyce smirked and thought to herself, "Knew that would work." She turned around and grinned at Hopper who was now wide awake.

"What're you waiting for? Let's go shower." He complained as he softly grabbed her hand and started pulling her.

"Nah, I think I'll skip the shower now."

His jaw dropped, "B-but, Joyce!" She shoved her towel into his arms and said, "Now that you're awake you can go take a shower yourself. I'm gonna go start on breakfast."

She started walking away as she heard Hopper groan loudly behind her. Joyce chuckled as she walked to the door. She turned to look at her husband only to watch as he walked back to bed and flopped down onto it.

"And what do you think you're doing?" She asked with a hand on her hip and an eyebrow raised.

"I'm going back to bed," Hopper grumbled as he pulled the blankets up to cover his face.

"Wha- No!" Joyce exclaimed as she ran to the bed and pulled the covers back. She squealed when Hopper reached up and grabbed her waist, throwing her onto the bed next to him and wrapping his arms tightly around her, throwing his leg over her legs to lock her in.

"Hop!" She laughed as she struggled to get out of his grasp. She felt him start to tickle her making her scream and squirm around even more.

"Hop-Hopper! Stop!" Joyce yelled as she started laughing louder. "S-Stop! Jim!"

Hopper laughed as he continued to tickle her, keeping her locked with his legs around her lower half. "Say you're gonna let me cuddle with you and sleep in for a bit, then I'll stop."

"No! We need- We need to get ready for- for the day!" She laughed, Hopper's tickling not stopping.

"Well then, guess you don't want me to stop." Hopper stopped for a bit, getting up and locking his legs around Joyce's keeping her legs pinned down while one of his hands grabbed her wrists, pinning them above her head and his other hand continued his tickles on her.

"JIM HOPPER! STOP!" Joyce yelled, trying to get herself out of his grasp. She started to laugh louder when his hands traveled down to her abdomen and started to tickle her there. "Oh, my g- Jim! Stop!"

Hopper laughed again when the door burst open. He stopped and the two of them look towards the doorway to see Jonathan, Will, El, Steve, Robin, and Max with concerned looks.

"Everything okay?" Steve asked with concern. Max and Robin looked at each other and had to look away in order to keep themselves from not laughing.

"Uhh..." Jonathan said, not able to complete a sentence from the position he observes his parents in.

"We heard Mom screaming and thought something was wrong," El explained innocently, not knowing why her siblings and their friends were embarrassed and trying not to laugh.

Hopper got off of Joyce and sat down next to her while she sat up, running her fingers through her hair.

"Yeah, kids. We're okay. Your father..." Joyce said, glaring at Hopper who had a shit-eating grin on his face as he looked at her. "And I was just playing around and he wouldn't stop tickling me."

That took the cake, Max and Robin had burst out laughing, needing to leave the group and walk to the living room down the stairs, their laughter still being heard. Jonathan sighed and chuckled to himself as he walked away, Will and El nodded their heads and went back to their rooms to clean up while Steve still stood there.

Hopper rolled his eyes, "Yes, Harrington?"

"Now I get why you married Mrs. H. She's a fine woman. I'd love to get with her as well." Steve thought out loud before his eyes widened, realizing what he just said. He looked at Hopper who had a death glare on his face, Steve being able to see the anger rising in his eyes while Joyce was blushing but also had a confused look on her face.

"Harrington I'm gonna kill you!" Hopper yelled as he shot out of bed and started going after the young adult.

"Uhm...I'm just gonna- Ah!" Steve yelled as he started to run. Joyce got out of bed and grabbed Hopper's arm, stopping him from going any further out the door. She managed to pull him towards her and wrapped her arms around his waist, resting her head right on his heart, hearing his heartbeat.

Hopper mellowed down and wrapped his arms around his beautiful wife, kissing her head.

"You're my big, grumpy teddy bear." She told him, looking up at him with a smile causing him to chuckle and kiss her lips.
