You've been waiting about a week since that audition.

And for the first time in a while, you can't get something out of your head.

Miss.Ryder.

She's like a song you can't stop singing.

A thought you can stop thinking.

A breath you can't stop breathing.

However you put it, you're so curious about this girl.

But you try to shake her out of your mind as you know the chances of you and her getting the parts you auditioned for are slim to none.

But it's still hard to stop thinking about wishing it would happen.

All of a sudden, while you're deep in your thoughts about Miss.Ryder, your telephone mounted on the wall begins to ring.

You pick it up after a moment, "Hello?".

"Is this Miss. L/N?" asks a voice.

"Yes, this is she." you reply.

"I am a representative from the acting set you auditioned in about a week ago. Heather Duke, right?".

"Yes..." you say.

"Okay. Perfect. Well, I am here to inform you that you have received the part of Heather Duke in the movie: Heathers!" they announce.

You jolt to stand up, your eyes wide and your mouth open, "Wait, wait, wait, you mean that?! I got the part???".

The person on the other line chuckles before responding, "Yes, Miss. L/N. If you would like to accept it, that is.".

You immediately reply, "Yes! I'll take it! Of course!".

"Perfect. You can come in for your first meet with the producers and your fellow actresses tomorrow, how about that?" they ask.

"Yes, I would love to! Tell them I'll be there!" you exclaim.

"Great. See you then, Miss.L/N." they say before hanging up the call a short second later.

You smile, placing the phone down on it's receiver.

You're excited, of course, to be finally living your dream of becoming an actress but...

You still find your brain racing.

Racing with thoughts of hope.

Hope that you'll see Miss. Ryder again. 

You want to talk to her again.

It's so weird how attached you are to someone you met once.

But here you are.
