The owner of the Dust shop "From Dust Till Dawn" is hanging a sign declaring its re-opening. As he climbs down from his ladder, he stumbles and falls. A girl with tan skin and green hair appeared beside the fallen Dust Shop owner as she giggles.

Girl: 'Scuse me, sorry. I'm not really from around here.

The girl said as she helps the man get back up from his feet.

Girl: Would you mind pointing me in the direction of this shop? The girl asked kindly to the shop keeper as she produces a piece of paper with writing on it and the shopkeep looks it over. The Shop keep looks at the paper as he inspects it. He then smiles as he looks back at the green haired girl with a smile as he nods.

The green haired girl soon walks away from the shop owner as both wave goodbye. As she passes a guy with gray eyes and gray hair at a corner. The guy also wears  a slate gray and black two-tone partial-zip jacket that covers his upper body. He also wears a single notched belt with what appears to be a sash or bandana draped over it. Protecting his arms are a set of rerebraces and vambraces.

Gray haired: I knew you were lost.

Says the gray haired teenager to the mint haired girl who stops and grits her teeth in anger before walking back to the gray haired teenager as she offers her wallet of Lien to him.

Girl: Mercury, I will seriously pay you to shut up.

The Gray haired teenager, known as Mercury, shook his head at the green haired girl as he says:

Mercury: That's not your money.

Girl: But it could be yours for five minutes of silence!

Mercury looks up at the sky, thinking if he should accept the offer. And after a few a few moments, he looks back at the girl as he gives her his answer.

Mercury: Nah...

The girl then growls in frustration and annoyance as she takes the Lien and tosses the wallet away before turning and walking away.

Girl: Fine.

Mercury: Whatever. You want me.

Mercury said with a teasing smile and chuckle before following her from behind. As the two walked through the city, showing more and newly added buildings and shops, like a café where two people are seen sitting and chatting.

Mercury: So how much farther?

Girl: A few blocks...

Mercuty: Ugh... this palce is so dull.

Girl: Eh, I kinda like it. Tall buildings, diverse culture...

Mercury: And nice dopey people who are easy to pickpocket.

Mercury said, causing Emerald to stop at her tracks.

Girl: That's every city.

Mercury: Ooh, Emerald! Master thief! Please don't take my money! I barely have enough to get by!

Mercury said, playing an act as a victim of theft.

Emerald glares at him, groaning angrily. She then walks away from him.

Mercury: Ugh... you're no fun today.

Mercury follows behind Emerald. The scene shifts to Emerald and Mercury entering a shop full of books. The shop owner can be heard humming a tune. Mercury stops near the door to look at books while Emerald approaches the counter and rings a service bell.

Book shop owner: Be right there!

Emerald looks back at Mercury. The shop owner is seen through a set of double doors carrying stacks of books as he walks backwards and out toward the counter.
