After the events of KOG Book 1, The Four Knights of Vale dedicated themselves to take down The Church of Grimm once and for all. Unbeknownst to them, someone will stop them froing completing their goal. Someone who is far worse than their late torme...
On top of building, Paige is seen in her Knights of Vale outfit, looking down the ledge as she looks out for anything weird happening. As she stood there, a portal appeared behind her, grabbing the Butterfly Knight's attention. As she turns around, Angelo walks out of the portal with his old and repaired Fox mask.
Paige: Hey!
Angelo: Yo!
The portal of the Vigilant Fox disappears behind him and Angelo walks up to Paige.
Paige: You got any info about the Church?
Angelo: A little. Something happened back at the CCT. So I had to go to the library to do the research there.
Paige: I see.
Angelo: Where's the other two?
As he said that, they hear numerous caws from above. As they look up, they see Crows flying around the air in a circle before they all swoop down towards the building the two are on. Then, the Vigilant Crow reforms and lands on top of the building in a crouched position before standing right back up.
Lanz: Sorry I'm late. Me, Ruby, and Penny had a small conversation.
Paige: What happened by the way? Did Ruby and Penny do something?
Lanz: U-Uhh... no. I mean, yes. Apparently they uhm... pissed off the two guards that chased after them.
Paige: Seriously? How? I remember it clearly that one of the guards pointed their fingers at Penny and Ruby and they just started running.
Lanz: Ah! Well, yes, they also said that but uhm... y-you know what, forget I said anything. Overall, Ruby and Penny are fine. They was just some... misunderstanding.
Lanz said, lying to his team and not telling any of them about Penny's true self. Paige and Angelo looked at each other confused because of his strange behavior.
Lanz: Anyways, now that we're here. Where's Az? I thought he was with you, Paige.
Paige: He was. He's just finding a good place to hide and change into his new look.
Lanz: New look? What do you mean?
As Lanz said that, they hear a footstep from behind.
Azrael: This new look baby!
The two turned around and they gasp in surprise to see Azrael, wearing a new outfit and and a newer mask. Angelo gives Azrael a impressed whistle, while Paige looks at him with starry eyes. The Vigilant Crow, Lanz, simply stares at him silently, but is still amazed of his new costume.
