Sigyn and Loki rode up the mountains, the forests filled with life. The birds sang their sweet songs as the two went further and further up the trail. Sigyn loved the feeling of the forest around her. As Goddess of Life she felt most powerful in such environments. Back in Vanaheim her mother made her use her Victory title the most. Blessing soldiers before they had to battle or sailors going to a hard journey in the waters.
The title of Goddess of Fidelity was one that always confused her. Why did she have it? What was her purpose because of it? Balder said the Norns always knew what they were doing so the reason of her title will come to her later in life. But he never defined how long it took.
Loki took her higher and higher up the mountain until the reached a vine covered rock. He helped her down and tied his horse to a nearby tree.
"Where are we Loki?"
"You'll darling,"
He held her hand and approached the vines. Sigyn looked at him in confusion as he brushed them away to reveal a plain stone wall as she had expected. Loki traced his fingers forming the runes ᛒᛖᛁᛟᚾᛞ. Beyond, Sigyn translated. The runes glowed a bright green and then disappeared.
Loki turned around and smirked at Sigyn, "See you on the other side darling,"
Before Sigyn could even register what was going on Loki jumped forward and disappeared into the wall. Her mouth hang agape as she looked to the spot he was just in to the one her disappeared o.
"L-loki?"
Suddenly a pale hand came out of the rock and wiggled its fingers. Sigyn shrieked at the sight of it but then took a closer look. Loki's armour. It beckoned her to hold it, so she cautiously placed hers on top. Loki's hand yanked Sigyn through the rock and she fell into the hands of the God of Mischief.
Sigyn looked up to meet his emerald eyes and then looked around the area.
"Loki where are we?" she said standing up right.
The prince chuckled and simply said, "You'll see,"
He conjured a green ball in his left palm and took Sigyn's hand into his right. The prince led her down the dark tunnel until they reached yet another wall.
"Loki it's blocked," she said looking around for another exit.
"Is it though?" he simply said.
He held her hand tighter and walked towards the wall, and then through it. Sigyn and subconsciously closed her eyes as she went through, and Loki told her to open it. She was shocked. They were high above in the mountains with not a cloud to block their view of Asgard, shimmering in the afternoon sun. It was setting and it cast a beautiful ray upon the palace, making it the centre of attention.
"Where-?" Sigyn said not being able to finish her sentence.
"I used to come here when I was younger and too annoyed to register the rest of the world," she hadn't noticed Loki and moved to sit by a tree until he had spoken.
The princess walked to Loki and sat right beside him.
"It's beautiful,"
"Yes," he said looking at her.
She noticed the look and smiled up and the prince. The moment could've lasted longer if it weren't for her torture machine.
"Damn this corset,"
