When Gabbie opened her eyes again she was on a boat. Sparrow was laying beside her. Gabbie looked up and saw Minho sitting across from her. He smiled gently at her. The sky was bright blue and the sun was shining. The air smelled like salt from the ocean beneath them. Gabbie sat up. Sparrow raised his head to look at her as if he wanted to make sure she was okay. She smiled at him.

"How long was I out?" Gabbie asked as she turned towards Minho.

"Just a couple of hours. If you don't count the night", Minho said with a smile. Gabbie couldn't help but to smile brightly at him.

They arrived at a beach well hidden behind hills and mountains. Their new home. They got everyone off the boat before some people started unloading the boat. Some people immediately started to set up big tents for when the night came. Others started making food. Gabbie was told to rest. And for once, she didn't have anything against it.

The next day, Gabbie sat outside talking with Minho. They saw Thomas walking out of the hut he had been in since they arrived. He had been unconscious since they left the city. But now he was finally up.

"Go. Go to him", Gabbie said to Minho when she saw the way he was looking at Thomas. Minho gave her a small smile before he got up from his seat to meet his friend. The two of them stopped and looked at each other for a short moment before they walked into each other's embraces. They hugged each other tightly, both relieved that they were still alive and at the same time very sad that Newt was gone. Their trio was down to a duo. Things would never really be the same again, and they all knew it.

"We've come a long way together. So many have sacrificed so much to make this place possible. Your friends... and your family", Vince spoke while everyone was gathered around the fire that night. He paused and looked at Gabbie before he held up his glass. "So here's to the ones who couldn't be here. Here's to the friends we lost. This place is for you. It's for all of us. But this is... this is for them", he continued and gestured towards a huge stone behind him. "So in your own time, in your own way, come make your peace. And welcome to the safe haven", Vince finally said and once again held up his glass. Everyone started cheering.

Everyone was talking, smiling and laughing. Gabbie saw Minho talking to Thomas.

"This is gonna be a good home for us", she heard Minho say while he looked at her with a smile. Thomas just nodded. Minho then held up the necklace Newt had been wearing for a while before he died. "You had this on you while you were passed out. Figured I'd keep it safe for you", Minho said with a hint of sadness in his voice.

"Thanks Minho", Thomas said with a small sigh. Minho then got up and walked over to Gabbie.

He placed his arm around her waist, as if he were scared she'd run away.

"You ready?" Gabbie asked with teary eyes. Minho slowly nodded. The two of them walked up to the stone that was standing on the middle of the beach in front of the tents. Minho started carving Newt's name onto the stone among the names of other people who had been lost while getting them to the safe haven. When Minho was done, Gabbie carved in Alby's name before handing the hammer and knife to her brother who carved in Chuck's name.

The three of them then took a few steps back to just look at the names. Minho stroked Gabbie along over her back while she rested her head on his shoulder. And Gally just stood there beside the couple, enjoying their company. Suddenly Sparrow walked up to them. He stopped between Gabbie and Gally who decided to rest his hand on the stallion's lowered neck.

The night was still young. Everyone took a seat around the fire. They took turns telling stories about the people who had been lost, until Minho suddenly spoke.
