Chapter 10: Battle of Midway

Azur Lane Fleet

Nemo POV

It was couple of days after me and Cleveland bath together under the secrets of Kommandant; however we learn that the Sakura Empire is making a move toward Midway where we believe Akagi is leading the fleet after we took their black wisdom cube from them, but some reason she commence a full scale attack. Kommandant has order the entire fleet of Eagle Union and Royal Navy to commence attack against Akagi's fleet; however keep some behind to protect the base if they decide to surprise attack again. I'm with the fleet heading toward Akagi's fleet, but I maintain underwater just in case. I continue to check my radar at the bridge to detect any movement that isn't ours, but for now there isn't. I sit on my chair and start to take a nap until I can vision Cleveland and her body which cause me to fall off my chair while turning red.

Nemo: "Warum sehe ich sie immer wieder so?"

God damn Kommandant and her plan for putting me and Cleveland together in the bath, but it was worth the shot. I stand back up and check the radar which is nothing. I head to the kitchen to drink some coffee until I feel a quake which shock me and maintain my balance until the quake has stop. I grab my periscope to see the entire area is cover in blood red sky and confuse of what is happening.

Nemo(confuse): "Was ist los?"

Rewind to the fleet

Ayami POV

Once we learn that the Sakura Empire is moving in toward Midway so we have a chance to strike them down and ended this once and for all. If we can take out Akagi then the Sakura Empire will be forced to surrender if possible or at least weaken them. I continue to observe until I can see Cleveland standing on the front looking at the sea, but also looking down where Nemo is at. I head over there and tease her again.

Ayami(tease): "Worry about him?"

Cleveland(shock): "What?"

If you wonder where we are at; we decide to get on board of Hornet and have the fleet leading by Enterprise and Queen Elizabeth by the Royal Navy.

Ayami: "Don't worry about him; he is a U-Boat a powerful submarine in this world. There maybe a powerful submarine that can beat U-Boat, but I think he is going be a beneficial to the Eagle Union."

She continue to watch the sea and observe Nemo from the distance. We continue toward Midway until we feel an earthquake coming from somewhere and the storm start to get worst. We both hold on for dear life until the sea is calm until we see the sky that is cover in dark red. I look around to see the fleet still alright and give report to anyone that we missing.

Ayami: "Do we miss someone?"

Hornet: "No; looks like everyone is here, but what happen here?"

I continue to observe the area and notice Akagi in front of us with a smile on her face.

Ayami: "What are you doing Akagi?"

Akagi: "Hello there Commander, but this is the end for Azur Lane."

She start to summon a lot of Siren ships which I order the girls to battle which they start to summon their rigs and attack the Sirens. The battle last for couple of hours until we see a couple of Sakura Empire ships enter the area and Nemo surface up to see the situation which he was shock to see what is happening because he never been in this area.

Nemo(shock): "Wo sind wir?"

Cleveland: "We're at the Mirror Sea created by Sirens, but the Sakura Empire is using it."
