Chapter 23: Battle of North Atlantic

Outskirts of Siren Base, North Atlantic

Cleveland POV

We arrive at the outskirts of the base of the Sirens which took us almost a week to reach the operation which we have to take the long way around South America and had to dock to the nearest port to resupply ourselves, but we manage to reach it.

Cleveland: "It is about time we arrive to our target and I hope they didn't do something to Nemo."

Denver: "I don't think that would be the case if we had to reach the area within almost a week."

We continue heading toward the base and we can see a large formation of Siren ships including high ranking Sirens flying above them. Looks like they're ready for this battle to begin. We got a radio call from Enterprise.

Enterprise(radio): "Everyone let's commence the operation."

We commence the assault against the main Siren Fleet while the carriers launch their fighters to engage the Siren fighters.

Meanwhile

Observer POV

We can see the main fleet of Azur Lane with the Commander in the behind line with two Iron Blood carriers. It is about time they arrive and I was worry that we waste our ships over nothing, but looks like Orochi was right.

Tester: "Looks like Orochi was right that we're getting unexpected guests, but they are too late."

Observer: "Orochi is ready for deployment."

The Siren fighters has launch from their carriers to intercept the Azur Lane forces while we deal with anyone who try to get close to the base.

Time Skip

Cleveland POV

The fight has start with couple of loss from the fighters and some of the girls got injured so the repair ships is on stand by for them while the recovery team find and rescue them. I continue bring more AA defense up for our battleships which is causing massive damage to the Siren forces; however we can hear explosion coming from Tirpitz who got injured from a torpedo.

Bismarck(shock): "Sister!"

There must a submarine around here and so the destroyers are protecting Tirpitz until the recover team arrive and taking out any submarines that appear on their screen which they found couple of them.

Javelin: "We found them."

The destroyers drop their depth charges which force the submarine to ascend which it looks like a U-Boat with Siren design which shock us.

Cleveland(shock): "A Siren U-Boat."

???: "Damn it; to think we found out early in the game."

Bismarck: "Why are you a U-Boat?"

???: "We're created through the DNA of a Iron Blood Kansen U-Boat and the mixture of a Siren. We are the HUNTERS!"

There can be only one U-Boat that has their possession is Nemo and they're using him to created new version of submarines with the mixture of Siren tech. I radio in the Commander about this new Siren ships.

Cleveland: "Commander; we got trouble. Sirens has a new submarine that looks like a U-Boat."

Akami(radio): "Understood; we better give them a name."

Cleveland: "They refer to Hunters."

Akami(radio): "Very well than; all units we have encounter a new Siren ship called the Hunters. They are submarines so destroyers keep your eyes open for them."

Everyone continue to fire against the Sirens; however it was good enough that Enterprise and her team have sneak into the base.

Meanwhile

Enterprise POV

Akami(radio): "All units we have encounter a new Siren ship called the Hunters. They are submarines so destroyers keep your eyes open for them."

Looks like the Sirens have produce a new type of ship while they're waiting for us, but it wasn't enough for them to spot us heading to the base since they're busy of fighting against the main fleet.

Belfast: "Looks like the plan is working."

Enterprise: "Don't jinx it Belfast; however once we reach the base. The Sirens will notice if any alarm is going off from the base and pull their forces back to the island. Once that is happening we better rescue Nemo before they notice something is wrong."

We continue moving to the base without been detected by the high ranking Sirens who is observing the battle and we're using the blue tarps to avoid detection.

Meanwhile

Observer POV

I continue to watch the battle unfold before my eyes until I notice something is wrong with this picture. I look around the battlefield and notice that some of the shipgirls is missing from the fighting mainly Enterprise. I didn't notice because I completely forget that those planes belong to her sisters who is part of the fighting.

Observer: "Hey Tester; where is Enterprise?"

Tester: "I don't know; I'm busy of killing those girls."

I continue to see the area and look at the base where the fleet is too busy of dealing with the main fleet of Azur Lane.

Observer(angry): "Dammit; we let them slip pass us. I'm heading to the base and deal our guests."

Tester: "I'll deal with this and you focus on our intruders otherwise Orochi will have our head."

I head out to the base and deal with Enterprise.

Meanwhile

Akami POV

I continue to observe with Zeppy who is enjoying the fight just like her mother and I notice Observer is heading back to the island which isn't good.

Akami(angry): "Dammit; looks like she notice what is going on."

I grab the radio and contact to Enterprise, but for some reason I can't contact her which means they have a Comms Jamming Device on the island .

Akami: "Looks like Enterprise and the rescue team are on their own for now."

We continue to watch the fight unfold with major losses from our side, but so do the enemy; however we need to continue the fight for the rescue team to save Nemo. However; Zeppy got hit by a bomb which cause her pain

Zeppy(pain): "AHHHHHH!"

Zeppelin(shock): "ZEPPY!"

I head to where Zeppy is and she is serious wounded from the bomb explosion which I contact Vestal to help her; however she is busy with the other wound at this time and more fighters are heading this.

Akami: "Zeppelin; we need to fall back."

Zeppelin: "Yes Commander."

I carry Zeppy to the medical room and she start to cry which I try comfort her.

Akami: "Is okay Zeppy; you're going to OK. I'm here for you."

She just lost a good amount of blood and she need medical attention ASAP.
