Y/ns pov:

I was sitting next to Mike, it was the day fo the snowball. Mike was just sitting, and doing nothing.

"Hey, you ok?" I asked.

"Huh? Oh, uhh, yeah. Yeah, I'm good," said Mike, smiling a little.

"Mike, I know it when you lie, tell me the truth," I said.

"Ok... I just, Max is dancing with Lucas, Dustin is dancing with... Is that my sister?!" asked Mike.

"Mike, c'mon. What's the point?" I asked.

"I just, I wish I had someone to dance with... Maybe... I don't know I, uhh," said Mike.

"Mike, it's gonna be fine. I'm sure you'll find somebody," I said, then I saw Will come in.

"In fact, I am sure someone will find you," I said, pointing at Will, while winking at Mike as a saying of 'This is your chance!'

"Are you sure about this?" asked Mike

"Positive," I said, and went dancing, by myself, which I was cool with.

"Ok. Thanks, y/n, you always know how to make people feel better," said Mike

"Sure, dude. No problem" I said, and we smiled at each other, when Mike looked away, I gestured for Will to ask Mike to dance... AND HE DID!

Will pov:

I entered the snowball and immediately looked for Mike. I was nervous, but I wanted to ask him to dance, I've been crushing on him for a while now. I saw Mike sitting with y/n, I got a little jealous, but then y/n saw me, and left Mike, when he wasn't looking at her, y/n gestured for me to ask Mike to dance?

Did she really ship us? I mean, it makes sense, since y/n is really sweet and caring!

Well, I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna ask Mike to dance... Phew! Here goes nothing...

"Hey, Mike?" I asked, going over to him

"Oh, uhh, hey, Will! You look great!" said Mike

"Thanks! You too," I said, smiling

"So, uhh, I was wondering if, you uhh, if you wanted to d-dance?" I asked, nervously

"Really? Sure! I'd love to!" said Mike, so we held each other's hand, and I put my arms on Mike's waist while he put his on my shoulders, I can't believe this is happening. I AM DANCING WITH MY CRUSH!

Y/n pov:

I am so happy for Mike and Will, they are so cute together! Oh, I then saw El come in with this beautiful blue dress, and her hair looked super cute! She saw me, and came up to me.

"Heyy, girl!" I smiled

"Hi," she said, smiling

"You look so pretty!" I said

"Thanks, you too," said El

"Soo, you happy for Mike and Will?" I asked

"Yeah, but why are they dancing, I mean, they are both boys," said El

Ohhh, I don't think she knows what LGBTQ+ is, lmaooooo.

"Ok, so, basically. There is this thing called being gay, and I am pretty sure that Mike and Will are gay for each other. Also, gay is basically a boy crushing on a boy, it can also be used for girls crushing on girls but, that can also be called a lesbian," I explained

"I think I understand," said El

"Ok, there's a lot more to it, but I think we can save that for later" I said

"So. Do you want to dance?" asked El

"*Giggles* Sure, why not?" I asked, then put my arms on her waist while she put hers on my shoulders.

We then danced through the night.
