Nagini slithers back and turns back to her human form, quick to inform her love, Voldemort, aka Tom Riddle. When the dark is now tasked to kidnap the child and bring him here, Harry learns that the dark is there to help him grow freely, not quickly like how Dumbledore wanted. Yes, Dumbledore knew he brought a 4-year-old into his mess, ignoring the child's age and pretending he was clearly older. Too mature for his age most would say, well now, Harry's new family isn't havin it.
