Emerson, Emery to his friends and family, was born and quickly forgotten. As he grew up, his brother and sister would hurt him and blame him. His back was covered in whip lashings due to his siblings actions. His family forgot him and he liked it that way. The day he is remembered was the day of his execution, where his siblings blamed him for murder, thievery, treason and assault.
When he is sent back in time into his three year old body, he is ready to change his life. He grows up and ignore his sibling, who are shocked and slowly wants his attention. He grows up basically in the Library, when his father tells him to do something, he does it, but his father becomes different. Everyday of Prince Emerson ignoring or acting coldly towards his family causes them to slowly become possessive and obsessed with Emerson's life and choices. When the five friends of Emery's brother arrives so his sister can choose one to get engaged with, he tries to remain forgotten and ignore, but that is seemingly impossible with his brother trying to spend time with him or his sister trying to get close or his father trying to have some bonding time. Slowly, he gains that attention of the princes and makes them curious with this cold beauty.
