I fidgeted with the hem of my dress as I waited for someone to get the door for me outside Pedri's home. After I got his text message, I responded to confirm that I was going to be there, but maybe a few minutes late.
I miraculously found a black, sparkly dress, appropriate for a party, not too showy but not overly conservative either, paired with a pair of strap heels and quickly put on some make up.

Suddenly the door opens, Pedri greeting me with a beer in hand, "Y/n! Wow.. Estás preciosa.." I blushed at his compliment and started to wonder where all of this is coming from.
Yes, he was the first person I met from the team, but we barely interacted with each other at this point, I guess I wouldn't have thought of him as someone who'd give me any compliments.
"Hi, Pedri. Thank you again for inviting me." I smile at him as he opens the door, letting me in. As I walk in, I couldn't help but appreciate the interior of his home. It's not too grand and not flashy at all, instead it's minimalist and seemingly very organize. "You have a beautiful home," I added.
"Thank you for accepting our invite! And gracias, my brother and I try to keep it clean whenever we can. Please, follow me in. Everyone's here, I'll introduce you" He says, winking at me at the same time, which gave me a hint that maybe he's had a drink or two, I don't remember him being flirty with me at all before.
We walked over from the front door to the living room, trailing behind Pedri, he led me to where Gavi and a few other people were hanging around in.
Gavi's accompanied by a beautiful girl, both of their eyes shining as they look at each other while chatting animatedly about something. I guess she is his best friend he was talking about earlier, given that they look so relaxed around each other.
"Gavi, Lea! Look who's here!" Pedri happily announces, breaking the spell between the two.
"Oy, Y/n, you made it! Come, let me introduce you to my best friend, Lea!" Gavi half-yells through the loud music playing in the background.
"Hola! Me llamo y/n, it's nice to meet you Lea." I extended my hand out to her, instead she pulls me in for un beso.
"We give each other besos here, y/n! I'm so glad there is another girl here!" Lea is literally radiating energy, just like Gavi, but she also seems to be so sweet and welcoming.
"I mean, have you met Sira, Ferran's girlfriend? She's here somewhere too but they are attached to the hip, I will introduce you to each other once the lovebirds detach from each other" Lean laughingly adds, Gavi joining her laughter, but not taking his eyes off of her, his hands also wrapped around her waist.
I wonder if there is anything going on between them. From an outsider looking in, I swear I could see sparks flying between the two, only if they knew... "Come on, chica, let's grab you a drink!" She pulls away from Gavi, who gives her a small pout. How cute, these two.
