Tensions run high as Stevie and Lindsey, newly engaged, head back into the studio to continue the work they began in Sausalito on the Rumors album, before they mended their relationship and promised each other forever...
Thank you so much for reading this second installment of the Buckingham Nicks A/U series. We are two chapters away from the end of "Dreams", and the making of the Tusk album comes next in what I like to call my "how it should have been" series.
The story that comes next is called "Beautiful Child".
I always inject truth in my stories even in an alternate universe. For example, Stevie's dedication of "Landslide" to Lindsey and her exact words on 10-4-77 is accurate. So is Stevie and Robin's love of the 1977 film Julia starring Jane Fonda and Vanessa Redgrave, and the nicknames "Julia" and "Lily" that came of it. (Stevie wrote a song called "Julia" for Robin and also "Rock A Little (Go Ahead, Lily". Also, Lily is her current dog.)
If you read my Christmas story "Underneath The Tree" from the A/U 2022, you know the baby coming is a girl. You also know her name is Julia. There is a lot more coming up, and I can't wait to share it with you! Please enjoy this photo from the Rumors tour of Stevie being awesome.
