I Sat up on my bed looked around and noticed James was gone. I layed back down for a minute and sighed. I wondered If it was all just a dream. A made of scenario in my head because I missed him. I lazily crawled out of bed and hopped in the shower. Letting warm water run all around my bare skin.

After I finished I hopped out, changed into some black shorts and a simple white tee. My eyes wandered around my room for a sec. I seen a little sticky note on my desk. I picked it up and started reading it.

"Hello Evelyn I'm so sorry I had to leave, I fixed up your room for you after the humungous mess I made. Thanks for letting me stay. I'll see you soon. Xoxo. Lots of love."

As I read the note, I read it In his sexy soft voice. I smiled and thought, so it wasn't just a dream. I wonder what he means by see you soon. I felt my stomach start to knot up making me smile once again.

I made my way downstairs and looked around. "Mom?" "Hello mom?". Everything was extremely silent. I walked over to her room and opened the door. Nothing. So then I walked to the kitchen and food was ready on the table. "Hmm maybe she went to town to buy groceries". I walked over to the fridge and then again theirs another note. " Man what's up with all the notes "I whispered to myself.

"Hi honey, I'm so sorry I didn't get to tell you this earlier but it was last minute. I got called to paint a painting for a art museum. I will be gone til Thursday night I'm so sorry honey. I left extra money in the drawer if you need anything else feel free to call. I'm so excited! If I do good on this painting greater opportunities will open up for the both of us. I love you."

I was extremely happy for my mother, she's actually out for once living her life most of the time she mopes around In her art studio. The only time she would go out is to get groceries or necessities we need. So I guess I'm home alone for about 2 days what to do? What to do. I thought to myself. Hmm I know. I should eat my breakfast first and pratice shooting things with my crossbow.

I gobbled up my bacon as well as my pancakes and gulped down some tasty fresh squeezed orange juice my mom made. I walked back upstairs and slid on my black converse, picked up my crossbow and slung it over my shoulder. I grabbed some empty soda cans and tossed them into a bag, glanced over to my clock and it was 1:13. Wow I woke up extremely late. I grabbed the house key, locked the door and headed out. I went back into the woods for the first time in a month.

I walked around cautuonsly making sure I don't get caught in a animal trap again until I found a perfect spot near a small creek. I set up the cans on some big boulders, took out my crossbow. I stared at the red coke can it was glistening since the sun was hitting it. I focused and shot a arrow and bang I knocked it down. Then again I stared this time at the sprite can bang knocked it down. I was about to shoot the 3rd can down until I heard some foot steps. " Who's there" I shouted. Everything was still blank. " Show yourself, I have a crossbow and I'm not afraid to use it".

I seen some thing zoom around the trees but kinda in a slow motion and I shot a arrow and then I shot a second one. The figure was pinned to the tree with my arrows. Heavily breathing I walked over to the figure and examined it. "Speak , why are you following me?". The person didn't say anything. I didn't know if it was a boy or a girl because the person had a mask and weird clothing. I hit the person in the stomach and it grunted. It definitely a guy I thought to myself. I removed the mask and stared into the guys striking green eyes. It was Justin.

"Justin! What the hell you scared me? What are you doing here? Why didn't you say anything? " I said angrily.

" I'm sorry Ev, my dad owns that cabin over their and we fish at this creek and I seen you shooting your arrows and I was just watching you because I found it interesting. I never seen a girl shoot a crossbow that good and I don't even know how to use one and you scared me! I thought you were gonna kill me" he said panting.

I laughed and calmed down and pulled both the arrows out from the tree bark and his shirt. I see a little trickle of blood fall from his shoulder onto the ground.

"I'm so sorry Justin I didn't mean to" I said. "Don't worry Ev it's just a scratch". He grabbed my hand and took me to his dad's cabin. I walked inside and sat down on the couch and set my crossbow and bag next to me. I Seen him look at his arm and wander into the bathroom. I got up and followed him.

" Hey Justin uhh... Are you sure your okay I'm sorry." "Yeah Ev just let me clean up, and no need to apologize". He then removed his shirt which made my eyes widen. Wow I mumbled under my breath examining all of his body. He had a nice V line and muscular arms. I guess he heard me and he laughed. Then I swear I turned as red as a tomato.

I coughed awkwardly opened his medicine cabinet grabbed a cotton ball and some alcohol. I pressed it on his wound and cleaned it. I opened the cabinet once more and I seen some hello kitty bandaids and laughed. " Why do you have hello kitty bandaids Justin" I continued laughing. He turned red and looked at me wide eyed this time. " My niece used to come over every summer and she is very clumsy, so she would get scraped all over her knees and hellokitty is her favorite so I would clean her and bandage her up" Justin said.

I smiled so hard that my cheeks hurt " Awe that's so adorable!" So I grabbed one of the bandages and put one on him and he made a weird face then smiled. He took a step closer to me and he was staring deeply into my eyes and said "How about that date, I'll walk you back home and pick you up around 5:30." I smiled and nodded. We walked through the woods back to my house and stopped at my door step and he pulled me into a warm hug and said " See you then and winked."
