I woke up from hearing my little sister screaming my name, I quickly checked my phone and read the time. 9:12 am, I quickly got my pocket knife and ran out the room.

"EVRA!" Maia yelled in pain, I hated my dad for hurting her again after he promised. Backstabbing bitch.

I quickly ran into my dads room were the screaming was coming from, I tried opening the door but it was locked. My heart dropped to my fucking stomach. I banged the door over and over attempting to open the door and jiggling the door knob, 7 seconds already passed by. At this point my only choice was to break the door, there is no way in hell I'm letting that man hurt my sister.

I started hitting the door with my left side of my body, that wasn't working so I started kicking the door. It felt like something was blocking the door, screaming was filling my ears. I decided to use my phone to call the cops and before I did, I used my knife to stab at the knob. It surprisingly worked and I was able to barge in the room where I saw one of the most traumatic images I've ever seen. My sister covered in blood and bruises.

I looked back at my dad and charged at him, it caught him off guard for 2 minutes. In those 2 minutes I was able to stab his arm and scratch his arms and face, I was soon pushed off but before he could do anything I immediately got up, got my knife and grabbed my sister and ran into my room.

We got into the room and I locked the door, soon followed by banging on my door. "Quick get under my bed." I whispered loud enough for Maia to hear me, she always hid under there because the boxes of my other stuff were in the back and in the way. She quickly got under my bed and tried grabbing me, "Stop Maia!" I whispered loudly. She tilted her head asking "Are you not gonna get under with me?!" I shook my head and then the door broke..

My dad had a belt in his hand, at this point I was used to the pain but it still hurt. He then started hitting me the hardest he ever had, I was bawling my eyes out begging him to stop. "WHERE IS SHE?!" He yelled asking, I looked directly in his dead eyes saying "Fuck you!" He continued to hit me with his belt.
