The boys followed close behind Alyara on the path to the healing hut. Along the way they had ran into Tsireya collecting some things to make a new top for herself. She decided to tag along and help her sister heal the two boys' bruises. Plus she also got to be around Lo'ak.

When they reached the healers pod Tsireya showed Lo'ak to a bed and Alyara showed neteyam to the other. Neteyam sat down with a smile on his face while Alyara was getting different herbs to blend into a cream to put on neteyams bruises. When Alyara finished grabbing the herbs she walked over to Neteyam and smiled back at him.

"How can you be so happy after you just got hurt in a fight?" she asked.
"I'm smiling because I get to spend time with one of my favourite people," he answered.
"How is your head?" Alyara changed the subject.
"Why?"
"You have a concussion, remember," she said.
"Right," he paused. "Well it doesn't hurt, I feel fine."

Alyara nodded and she started grinding the herbs and put some cold water into the mixture. She was about to place the mixture on his bruises when she noticed a large cut on his arm. Neteyam noticed her looking at his arm and looked to see what was wrong. His eyes grew wide when he noticed the large amount of blood falling down his arm. Alyara grabbed a sewing needle and some sinu from a cupbored. She went back towards Neteyam who had a terrified look on his face when he saw what she was going to do.

"Give me your arm, I need to clean the wound before I sew it," she told him. Neteyam grimaced as he offered alyara his arm. Alyara lightly grabbed his arm and paused for a moment. She felt every muscle in his arm, she felt the heat of his skin under the coldness of her hand, she felt how stiff his arm was and looked at him. "Try to relax your muscles," she said.

Neteyam complied and relaxed his arm with a smile. Alyara turned her head to look at the wound and wiped the navy blue skin surrounding it. She felt his gaze on her and she tried to contol the blush fighting its way to her cheeks. Neteyam noticed and smiled at her nervousness. He found it amusing. When the girl set down the cloth she was using to clean around the wound Tsireya spoke up.

"I'm done healing Lo'ak, I'm going to drop him off at his hut and return to my chores," Tsireya spoke to Alyara. Alyara nodded and her gaze followed them out the door. When she turned she grabbed the needle and sinu and started to stitch Neteyams arm up. Neteyam winced in pain whenever she put the needle back into his skin. Alyara noticed his flinching and placed a hand on his knee.

"Whenever the pain feels like it's too much just squeeze my arm for comfort." She said, looking into his eyes. Neteyam nodded and sheepishly placed his hand on her arm. Alyara took a deep breath and continued the stitches. She felt Neteyam's hand queeze her arm slightly, without much force. He acted as though she was a fragile piece of glass. She glanced at him from the corner of her eye. Neteyam was looking down and he didn't seem to be his usual confident self. Normally he wasn't as quiet.

"I'm sorry," She looked at him with a questioning gaze, "for the fight," He finished.
"It wasn't your fault, Ao'nung had it coming," Alyara said. She finished stitching up neteyams arm and tied it off. She reached for the gauze to wrap around his arm. Neteyam's gaze stayed on Alyara.

"Why do you keep looking at me?" She Called him out. Neteyam was stunned.
"Am I not aloud to admire my nurse?" He asked. His eyes seemed innocent
"You can in a little bit, lay down," she ordered.
"In a rush are we?"  Neteyam said.
"I need to heal your bruises Forest boy," she countered. He nodded still not laying down. Alyara rolled her eye and placed a hand on his chest applying pressure to push him down. She felt his heart race and watched as his cheeks turned a light pink.

"I said, lay down," Alyara reminded. Neteyam swallowed deeply and nodded. He was suppressing some words from coming out of his mouth. Alyara grabbed the paste that layed beside his head. "The paste might feel cold," she said

Neteyam Nodded as she started to lay the paste on his face. She was right. it is cold. He thought to him self. He looked at Alyara and smiled at her. through her consentration she didn't notice till she went to apply the paste to a bruise on his chin. she looked at his bright yellow eyes and smiled back at him.

Alyara felt her heart skip a beat looking into his eyes. she felt as though she would drown in them. she dropped her head to concentrate on the task at hand. when she realized she was finnished she looked at the boy laying on the table.

She cleared her throat before speaking, "you have to wait for a few minutes to let the paste set in," she said. Neteyam nodded and followed her with his eyes as she cleaned up everthing she used to heal him. He noticed that she had a blush plastered on her cheeks, a notible red.

When alyara turned around to go back towards Neteyam she noticed him smiling to himself.

"why are you smiling?" She asked.

"because you're blushing," he said, seemingly proud.

"No I'm not." Alyara said. her face was getteing to be an even brighter red. he laughed in response. "Well, I am now." she admitted. she shook her head and took a rag and soaked it in water. "clean the paste off, your bruisses should be heald now," she said throwing the rag at him.

Neteyam laughed grabbing the rag that layed next to him and sitting up. "why can't you?" he asked. "because you are perfectly capable of doing so," she countered. She didn't look at him as she said this. Neteyam being stubourn walked over to her and grabbed her hand.

"please," he said. His voice was low. She ignored him. "please, Alyara," he repeated. Alyara's face grew brighter with red when she heared the way her name just rolled off his tounge. She still ignored him.

She felt Neteyams hand slide to her chin as he made her look at him. Her breathing hitched when she realized how close they were. Her face was flushed with red and her eyes were wide. Her heart was racing as he moved his hands to her waist pulling him closer to her. Neteyams eyes looked down at her lips and raised his eyebrows and smiled.

"Pay attention to me please." he said in a calm tone.
