After a short ride, the groups reached the tree of souls. The forest Na'vi all looked around the cove in awe. Alyara towards Neteyam, smiling at his awe-struck expression. The boy broke his staring gaze from the area surrounding him. He looked towards the girl, his smile grew when he noticed she was already looking in his direction.

Neteyam gestures for her to come in his direction. Alyara smiled and nodded positively at him. She disconnected her queue from the animal and slid into the water. Alyara swam over to him with a large smile. When she got close enough she held out her arm for him to help her up onto his ilu. Neteyam reached for her hand and helped her get on the ilu.

When Alyara got comfortable on the animal she wrapped her arms around Neteyams waist, placing her chin on his shoulder. Neteyam looked back at the girl and gave her a smile. He placed a hand on her head and messed with her hair a little bit. Earning a small hit on his thigh. Neteyam gave her a false hurt gaze, his look being returned with an exaggerated smile. The boy shook his head before looking down at the animal beneath them, stifling a small laugh. Alyara tightened her grip around his waist slightly before speaking.

"Eclipse is the best time to come here, you can see the beautiful luminescence," She claimed. Neteyam nodded as he looked at the disappearing sun. When the sun disappeared he looked at the girl behind him. Alyara had an excited expression on her face.

Neteyam noticed a strong glow coming from the water. He looked down at the glowing plants and marine life, making an astonished laugh. Alyara smiled at his amazement, she was happy to be able to show this to him.

"Come," she told him before loosening her grip on him and sliding into the water.

Neteyam followed slowly before going into the water after her. He stayed near the surface as he looked down and watched the girl go down to these glowing pink creatures. She connected her queue to the animal and placed it on her back. She grabbed another one, bringing it to neteyam. When she broke the surface of the water she began to speak.

"If you connect your queue to the animal, you will have more oxygen dispensed throughout your body," She explained, "So, you will be able to hold your breath for longer under the water." Neteyam nodded and brought his braid forward to connect to the animal. When he connected his queue to the animal he turned around so that Alyara could place it on his back. When Alyara placed the animal on Neteyams back he turned around to face her.

She gave him a smile before diving back under the water. Neteyam smiled as he took in the sight surrounding them. While looking around his gaze fell onto Alyara, She gestured for him to follow her. He nodded and followed her in the direction of the tree. When they got to a branch Alyara grabbed her braid and watched as the tendrils interlaced with the branch. Neteyam soon following her actions.

Alyara.

The girl looked around her, taking in her surroundings. She was in a Marui pod, she hadn't recognized it as her own. Though, it did feel overly familiar. She explored the pod arround her looking at the different decorations and tools laying around. She saw a mirror and looked at her reflection.

She gazed at the woman in the reflection. She looked similar to her mother, there was a clear resemblance, but she had her fathers kind eyes. There was a tatto that looked like a tree branching around her waist. Alyara knew it was herself, just older. Maybe somewhere in her late thirties.

Her thoughts were soon interrupted by a little boy rushing into the room, screaming. He was running away from someone. The boy quickly hugged her thigh and hid behind her. A small laugh escaped her breath. She looked down at the child and ran a hand through its hair. The child was slightly darker in tone and he didn't have fins on his hands, the child looked up to his mother and met her gaze, he had her blue eyes.

"Save me mother," he panted. Alyara smiled comfortingly as she quickly scooped the child into her arms.

"What is wrong dear child, who do I need to save you from?" she asked him. Her focus on the child was broken when she heard a deep male voice entering the home.

"Madan, You are in serious trouble,"

Madan, so that's the childs name. Alyara thought. Her gaze drew away from the boy in her arms to the Na'vi man that just entered the pod. She noticed the similarities between the man and toruk makto and his mate. The bright yellow eyes, the beaded hair with braids, the dark skin, the tall stature, the toned arms. Neteyam, she thought. Even though he was much older he still looked attractive.

Alyara smiled at the man. He returned it before turning his attention back to the child, Neteyam was drenched in water. She had a guess on what the child did. He looked between you and the child. He lifted a hand and pointed at the child accusingly.

"Your son pushed me into the water," the older man said.

"I did not," Madan protested. Alyara looked between the two boys and smiled at their arguing.

"Oh, you find this amusing?" Neteyam asked her.
"Alittle bit yea," she answered. Neteyam shook his head looking down at the ground stifling a laugh. He walked over to you and took the child from your hands gently. Neteyam placed a quick kiss on her lips, Alyara smiled into it.

"Gross!" The child shouted. The two adults laughed before the two boys walked out of the hut.

"Me and you have some archery to get back to" Neteyam told Madan.

Alyara waved good-bye to them as they left, the child waved back. The woman smiled to herself, happy to know that this free is what she has to look forward to.

Neteyam.

The boy took in his surroundings, he noticed that he was in a marui pod. It wasn't the one that he and his family stayed in. This one was larger, more decorated, fit for the chief. Neteyam sat up from the mattress he was on. He looked at his hands and his clothing. It wasn't as simplistic as what he normally wears. It had beaded patterns and colours.

He stood up and explored the pod. While walking around Neteyam noticed his reflection. He stared at it. He saw glimpses of his mother, some of his father. He was older, much older.

He heard laughter from a child enter the pod, along with a grown woman's laughter. He turned around to the noise and noticed a child next to his mother. The kid reminded Neteyam of his younger sister, the only difference is that the child looked like a Metkayina. Neteyam shifted his gaze to the woman behind the child, she had a tattoo of a tree on her torso, the branches reached around her waist.

"Neteyam?" His thoughts were interrupted, "your son would like you to teach him how to shoot a bow and arrow," The woman said.
"I want to be a warrior like you!" The boy said. He was jumping up and down in excitement waiting for Neteyams response.

"Madan, patience," she lectured the child. She placed a soothing hand on the child's head, brushing her hand through his hair.

"Sorry mother," the child said, calming down.
"Okay, Come," He told the child.

As the two boys were starting to leave the tent Alyara stopped Neteyam, she placed a small kiss on his cheek.

"Be back before eclipse," she told him. Neteyam nodded and ushered the boy forward. He grabbed the bow resting at the door along with a few arrows.

The boy was jumping down the path. Neteyam watched him smiling. He looked at the different features he had.

Madans skin was a sky blue colour, a mix between the two shades of his parents. He had the Metkayina tail, it probably helped him a lot in the water, but his wrists didn't have the fins on them. The boy turned around and faced his father.

"Let's practice over there!" Madan said, pointing to an open space with a couple trees to use for targets. it was relatively secluded so there wasn't much of chance of accidentally Hitting someone. Neteyam nodded positively at the boy with a smile. He has Alyara's eyes.
