Alyara was first to disconnect her queue from the tree, she felt waves of happiness and excitement come over her as she looked at the boy next to her. He had a wide smile on his face before disconnecting his queue as well. Neteyam looked around his surroundings, his gaze fell on alyara. She gave him a smile before pointing up to the surface.

When the two reached the surface of the water, they were lightly gasping for air. While taking heavy breath neteyam looked at the girl infront of him. He smiled remembering the future eywa had shown him. Happiness was all he felt when he realized that she was his future. Her.

"How about me and you leave?" she suggests.
"Where would we go?" Neteyam asked her.
"The beach, we could walk around for a while," she said.
"I would love to," he said.

The two called their ilus. Both animals came fast, rubbing against their chosen rider. Alyara mounted her animal first connecting to it, Neteyam soon followed her actions. After mounting his animal Neteyam willed his ilu to go next to the girl. Alyara smiled at him before looking forward to their set destination.

"How about we make this interesting forest boy," she says, turning her gaze to him slowly.
"What would you suggest?" he asked her.
"A race," she said, "loser does something of the winner's choice,"
"Deal" he agreed.

The girl nodded at him with a small smile on her face. She slowly made her way next to Neteyam to make the beginning more even.

"Good luck Forest boy," she told him, diving into the water.
"Hey! That's unfair!" Neteyam shouted after her, thinking she would hear him.

He shook his head grinning in the direction she left before diving into the water after her. Alyara wasn't too far up ahead and he caught up to the girl rather quickly. In mere seconds he was beside her.

Alyara noticed the boy next to her. Neteyam flashed her a quick smile before racing ahead.

——————————————

The couple arrived at the beach pretty fast. Neteyam had made it there first, winning their race. Alyara showed up seconds after him. Cursing to herself from her loss.

When the two made it to the shallow part of the water Neteyam got off his ilu and held out his hand to help alyara off her animal. When she noticed his hand she gave him a small glare before swatting his hand away.

She scoffed and turned to get off on the other side of her ilu. The large animal separated the two. It reminded Neteyam of the day he first learned to ride the beast. Wincing at the memory of pain.

Neteyam looked as Alyara pouted slightly while walking to the shore. The boy stifled a laugh before rushing through the water, making loud splashes before he quickly wrapped his arms around the girl's waist lifting her out of the water. Alyara let out a small shriek from the action, tucking her legs in. She started giggling and was surprised by his strength.

"Don't be such a sore loser," Neteyam told her, "besides, you have to do something I request,"

Alyara scoffed at the boy. He still had her in his arms while he was walking to the sand.

"Don't give me attitude," he lectured.
"I'm not giving you attitude, now put me down," she demanded.

Neteyam chuckled a little before he lightly placed alyara down on the warm sand. She then turned to the tall Na'vi boy, crossing her arms in front of her chest. She had to tilt her head up to look him in the eyes.

The stern look on her face faded when she saw the light smile on his face. He placed his two hands on her shoulders, leaning in closer to her face. Neteyams gaze switched between the girl's eyes and lips. Alyara let her arms pull away from each other laying her hands on his forearm. She started moving closer to him, leaving less space between them.

She tried to move closer, wanting to connect their lips together. Neteyam stopped her with a hum and pulled away from the girl. She gave him a look of confusion that was quickly replaced by a look of annoyance.

"Don't get all pouty again, I just figured out what I want you to do," he said with a cheeky grin.
"And what is that?" She asked him, dropping her arms to her sides.
"Another date," he stated.

Alyara wasn't opposed to the idea, she loved the first date they had, but she felt like there was something else. A catch. Something he isn't telling her.

"What will we do on the date?" She asked him suspiciously. Neteyams smile only grew.
"I want to take you flying on my Ikran," he said.
Alyara stared at him wide eyed. He laughed at her reaction.
"I promise it's safe, I'll just take you for a small joy ride and maybe we could stop somewhere," Neteyam reasoned.
The girl nodded looking up at the boy.
"Fine." She muttered. How is this man, of all people, her future?  She questioned herself.

Neteyam smiled down widely at the girl and tried to lean in for a small kiss. She held up a hand to his mouth raising her eyebrows at him.

"No kissing till after the joyride"  she told him. His smile faded quickly and was replaced by a dramatic pouting one.
"Please?" He begged.
"You're cute when you beg but no," Alyara said sternly.

Neteyam scrunched his nose in annoyance and looked at the forest that's a small distance from where the two were. He looked back down at the girl and smiled, giving her a quick peck on the cheek and running . Alyara froze from the fast action.

"DID IT ANYWAYS!" He shouted back at the girl, Making her turn to face the sprinting boy, "GO WAIT ON THE ROCK WE WERE EARLIER, I WILL BE THERE SOON!!"

Alyara giggled as she watched him nearly fall on his face. She covered her mouth with her hand to try and make the laugh quieter.
——————————————-

Alyara was waiting for Neteyam for only a few minutes when he returned to her on his ikran.

The large animal was a beautiful green that reminded her of the trees in the forest surrounding her home, with yellow and brown stripes that were similar to the colour of the boy's eyes. The design was so unique and intricate.

Neteyam got off his ikran gracefully, petting its neck as he made his way over to alyara who was admiring the animal. He caught the girl's eye when he reached his hand out for her to take. This time she accepted the gesture and let herself be pulled in direction.

"Don't look her in the eyes," he warned her.

Alyara nodded in response. She ran her fingers over the neck of the animal. The skin was so smooth instead of the slickness she was used to. She smiled at the beast before she reached the saddle. Neteyam hoisted himself up first on the ikran. After getting himself situated he pulled alyara up with him.

The girl wrapped her arms around the boy's waist and rested her forehead between his shoulder blades. Feeling his calm breathing against her head. She was terrified to say the least, she tried to match her breath with his to calm down.

Neteyam noticed her nervousness and chuckled lightly to himself. Alyara felt his small movements and took her head off the boy and looked up at him to meet his eyes.

"What?" She asked harshly, maybe too harsh.
"You know I'm not going to let anything bad happen to you right?" He reassured her.
"I know, but that doesn't help the fear of heights, I'm just preparing myself," she retorted. He raised an eyebrow at the girl. "What?"
"I didn't think you were afraid of anything," he told her.
"Everyone has at least one fear," she stated.

He nodded in agreement at her statement. He looked forward to the direction he wanted to take the girl. "Ready?" He asked her.

Alyara let out a small yes  before tightening her grip around the boy. Letting out a small shriek when she felt the animal jump off the edge and into the air.

No turning back now.
