Last time on Taerel and the Tournament...
"No I do not think so sir I can sense a place and so I will stay there" he started to leave and then thought of something and so turned around again "lest I forget I am 1400 years old I have finished all education that you want me to do, I have also completed 4 appreticeships as well" he closed the door and laughed.
.........................................................
Taerel was wondering around the castle looking for somewhere to stay and he felt that the castle was alive but it couldn't be it looked so young compared to what he had seen in his life but no it did have a complete magical signature like it was alive.... it had become sentient and that only happened if someone with great magical powers could do and so he reached out....
He felt the students magic that was barely there if they were Elven but for humans it was strong in some way but it would never be as strong as it should be they were all being stunted somehow, the knew the staffs every well they were much stronger Dumbles being the strongest of them all but also so very weak...
He kept searching until he felt four powerful waves of magic hitting him making him smile yes this was it.. his is what he was looking for... it was the magic of the castle that was singing to him in welcome and so he followed it and ended up in front of a painting of someone teaching trolls to dance
He looked it from one end to the other three times and then a door opened opposite to him
"Well this place has hidden room" said Taerel to Sheen as he looked around the room that had formed when he entered it, it looked like it was a replica of his own bedroom back home
He took off his cloak to reveal the plain black tunic underneath and sat down on one of the sofa's that was there, it may of looked like his room but it wasn't anything like his room back home he missed his grandparents and well as his aunt and uncle this wasn't home no matter how much a magical castle could replicate it it just wasn't the same for him.
Sheen went off to explore the room this was the first time Taerel had let him down since before they whisked away to this realm it was so different yet so similar in a way he could tell that even if he was a cat
Taerel looked out of the window that he sat by and it over looked the forest but around the grounds he could sense nothing but children... he sighed he was stuck until he could get back home and that could take who knows how long and so he was stuck.
The mirror he had placed on the table started to vibrate and Taerel knew it was going to be his grandfather and so he picked it up
"Oh thank the Goddess that you are ok grandson" said Kelvhan once he saw Taerel "we have been so worried about you Barnaby told us were you were.... well we are trying to get you back but it seems that we are being blocked"
Taerel sighed he wasn't happy one bit it seems like he was stuck in a place and he couldn't get back
"So I do not have a way back until this is all over, this castle is sentient and this room appeared to me and made a look alike of my room, I feel its magic all around it is four magicals in one very powerful, the man in charge is the very one you warned me about he wants me to compete in something called the Triwizard Tournament whatever that is" he sat back down
"Oh I know about that one!" said Aubion to the other three making them look at him
"What?" he asked
"Oh nothing dear brother just that you know something that we don't" laughed Arel to her brother making him pout
"Arel leave your brother alone and Aubion please do tell us about it" said Kelvhan, sometimes he hated having twins
"Well the Triwizard Tournament is or was a magical contest held between the three largest wizarding schools, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry of England, Beauxbatons Academy of Magic of France and Durmstrung Institute of Bulgaria in the human world.
The three selected champions compete in three tasks - traditionally judged by the Headmasters or Headmistresses of the competing schools - designed to test magical ability, intelligence, and courage. Champions competed for the honour and glory of winning the Tournament, for the Triwizard Cup and a monetary prize. The first Tournament was held sometime around the late 13th century I believe" he thought for a moment and then carried on
"The Tournament was notorious for being extremely dangerous: many champions died while competing, and it was discontinued at some point in or after 1792 due to his high death toll, I wonder why it's been brought back after over two hundred years seems strange"
"He's a walking encyclopaedia this one" said Arel
"You would be if you studied sister"
"Stop please with this pointless banter I am stuck here for unknown reasons besides being called my old name and that ସାର୍ସେହୋଲ୍ will not let me leave, I do not wish to listen to you if yu continue!" said Taerel as he lost his temper with his aunt and uncle
"Taerel Alaion you will not use that language even if you are upset" scolded Alyndra to him making him nod
"Sorry grandmother I did not mean to it is just that I want to come back home but I can not feel the way, it is like my magic is being redirected somehow but that should not be possible, could it grandfather?!"
Kelvhan thought for a moment "who is in charge there and what school?"
"I know the man is the one you warned me about the one that took mother"
This time it was Kelvhan's turn to swear only for Alyndra to hit him "don't think you can get away with it I can't hit our grandson as he is trapped over there but he will have a stern talking to about his language when he gets back here"
"Yes dear"
"Sorry grandmother"
