Taerel sighed tonight was the night that everyone in Hogwarts was mentioning about but he didn't feel right being there it's wasn't even Christmas/Yule here and he had missed so much back home
He sat in the room he had been occuping since he got summoned there sighing he wasn't going to be enjoying tonight from what he could work out
Severus had refused to get ready in his own chambers as everyone might see him in his true form he had glamoured himself for lessons and office hours but when in his own rooms he undid it
"Trell are you sure this is right?" asked Severus as he poked his head out of the room he was using
"What do you mean?" he smiled the braid Luna had done was still there but if you looked closely you could see a matching butterfly it was tiny but you could see it
"I need help with the pin tie and the sash it doesn't look right" he sighed he had never worn anything like it before and it wasn't even all black it was a deep navy blue and silver which really brought out his eyes or so Caeli and Taerel told him but he wasn't so sure and so Taerel went to help him
"You look wonderful Little Snake, I knew those colours would help you and the silk of the shirt is just wonderful if I could make you wear something like this all the time I will be a very pleased man" and he kissed him gently on the cheek
"Thank you and I do much prefer my black but I'll make an acception for you nothing more"
"Very well Little Snake"
"What's with the nickname?"
"You are the Head of the house of Snakes are you not? you are cunning have ambition, resourcefulness, determination as well as cleverness traits a snake does have" and he smiled
"Fine"
Charity came out in a flowing purple oriental dress with matching cherry blossoms on it, the three matched in so way which was lovely as they were mates after all.
"You look wonderful Little Berry we should go, Severus do you want to replace your glamour or do you want everyone to see how you truly look? It is up to you I do not mind?"
"I think I'll do the scare tactic and see if they can recognise me"
"Professor that's just mean" said Charity "do I look ok?"
"You look wonderful Little Berry, Severus what do you think?"
"Miss Frost you you look very nice"
"Call me Charity after all we are mates"
"Severus only in private just us three and Miss Lovegood"
"Come on they will not be able to start without me and I would like to get this over and done with, I have my own celebration to get to" sighed Taerel he really hated this place
"I'll go through the teachers entrance so don't worry about me" and he left his small cape still managed to look like it flowed like bat wings
"I still don't know how he does that"
"It is his creatures doing, they like the fanfare to be honest, let us go Little Berry" and he took her arm and lead her out and down to the Great Hall where Minerva was waiting with an impatient Ginny Weasely
"What's she doing here? I'm meant to be your date!" huffed Ginny to him but Taerel ignored her and looked at Minerva
"I am ready to go in Lady McGonagall I have my date with me"
"Very well Mr Heikrana, Miss Weasely please go into the hall already or go back to your dorm" and she shooed her off
"But he's meant to be my date!" she whined
