"Amane why are you in my bed?" Yashiro    was pulling the blanket that was overtop Amane.

"C'mon, five more minutes."

"You get no more minutes! I need to get ready!" By now Yashiro was pulling on his hand trying to to pull him out of bed, to no avail.

"Fine! Ok Yashiro." Amane finally managed to get up and walk out of the room.

"Close the door!"

"Oopsiee~~" Amane peeked through the doorway and flashed a mischievous grin to Yashiro as she slammed the door on his face.

Amane

Yashiro is seemingly a whole different person from the one he saw last night, sobbing in her bed.

He didn't have to do much to get ready, so he just grabbed the essentials and got ready in the bathroom.

Eventually Yashiro opened the door to the bedroom. She had on a navy blue blazer with gold buttons.

"Cool jacket." Amane said while swinging his feet on the big chairs on the island.

"Congrats. Today's the last day of your training and to day I have a meeting with my new assistant, who will be taking your seat."

"What! Who am I gonna sit with now!" Amane had a exaggerated hurt look on his face.

"You gotta make your own freinds, you can sit where ever you want."

"Allllriiiighhhttt." Amane dragged his feet  down the side walk while Yashiro obsessively fixed her looks.

"Your so obsessed with your looks Yashiro." Amane looked up at her. She started to fiddle with her buttons on her blazer.

"First impressions matter, y'know. Not everyone gets a meet cute."

"I know that, but you look naturally beautiful."

"Your flattery isn't working. Don't think I forgot about last night. That was uncalled for."

Amane had a feeling that would get a negative reaction. Though he couldn't stand by while a friend of his sobbed herself to sleep.

"It did work didn't it?" Amane gave her a cheeky grin to lighten the mood.

"I mean, it did a little, but at least tell me."

They both sat down on the subway as Amane finally took note of all the riders. There was a stressed mother, soothing her children, a young couple, making out and doing obscenities, an office worker, of whom Amane thought he recognized and an old lady, all in his direct eyesight.

The old lady suddenly looked at him with a loving smile.

"Hey child, your doing great. She truly appreciates your efforts and they are working. She has thought of ending it all, until she thinks of you. You give her purpose." The sides of the old lady's mouth tugged upwards.

"How do you know? Why are you telling me this?" Amane looked at the old lady with a uneasy stare.

"C'mon Amane, stop flirting with old ladies." Yashiro tugged on Amane's hand.

The old lady winked at Amane before he was dragged out of the subway by Yashiro.

Silence filled the two as Amane decided how to word his question.

"Hey Yashiro, how do you feel about me."

Yashiro's breath bitched as she

"Well, I haven't prepared mentally for this question. I guess I don't know. All I know is that when I'm around you, I get this warm and fuzzy feeling. It's a nice feeling. It's hard to explain." Yashiro began to fiddle with her buttons again, as a light blush powdered her cheeks.

Amane gave her a bright smile. If faced with the same question. He would say the same.

They arrived at the building and Yashiro stopped by her desk to grab a few things before instructing a woman named Taylor to make sure hell doesn't break loose.

Yashiro had her hand on the doorknob, taking deep breaths.

"I hope he's nice Yashiro!" Amane said, pulling out a chair next to people he didn't know.

"I hope your new friends are nice too." Yashiro said thinning her lips and giving a fake smile.

"Looks don't matter unless you smile, Yashiro"

"I know I know." Yashiro said, opening the door and nonchalantly closing it behind her.

Yashiro

Yashiro walked down the dull hallways, briefcase in hand. She boarded the elevator and leaned against the walls, sighing in releif.

The upper floors were more lavishly decorated, and much more important workers gracefully strutted down the hallway. They knew their worth, and they relished the feeling of being needed, of being important.

She knocked on the door of the meeting room. As a very cheery man opened it.

"Welcome Ms. Nene!" The man had a smile ear to ear.

She walked in the room and sat in a squeaky chair.

Soon the other executives floated into the room and sat and began organizing their notes and supplies.

"Now, it seems that we all have arrived! You may see that their are some new people in this room." The man, who Yashiro later recognized as Mr. Lyricon, swiftly gestured to the wall of clearly nervous new hires.

"Our company's higher ups have decided to grant you all assistants!" Mr. Lyricon  proudly boasted.

Yashiro made eye contact with a boy, he had orange hair and bright and loud blue eyes. He waved at her meekly and she waved back.

"It seems we are giddy to meet our new assistants, let's get to the good stuff!" Mr Lyricon almost skipped to the wall of new hires.

Sorry for the late posts 😔😔😔 I got caught up with school. Can you guess who Yashiro's new assistant will be? I'll see you guys next time! Bye!
