Like children

Sakura's POV

The four adults chased eachother around the small cafe. They clamored at eachother and bickered while running. They acted like children....like Tsukasa.

Sakura was glad Tsukasa had someone to help burn his endless energy. Tsukasa gave Sakura arthritis while roughhousing.

In truth, Sakura thought nothing negative about Tsukasa, she was afraid that, if she did, she would get hurt by him.

Nene skidded to a stop and took a swig out of a tea cup.

"Hey! That's my tea!" Amane shouted, yanking the delicate tea cup out of Nene's hands.

Nene covered her mouth and nose so tea didn't spurt out of them.

"Haha! Sorry Amane!" She giggled as  Kou run up behind her and put his hands on her shoulders.

Nene jolted a bit as she felt the hands on her shoulders, but she softened once she realized it was Kou.

"Don't be so rough with Miss Yashiro! She's a refined lady!" Kou refuted over Nene's shoulder.

Nene and Amane both laughed loudly, yet Kou retained a face of stone. Tsukasa softly stood next to Sakura.

"Hm?" Sakura hummed quietly as she tired her head slowly toward Tsukasa. Why was he standing next to her? Did he need a refill?

"This shouldnt be happening." Tsukasa muttered.

"What shouldn't be happening?" Sakura turned towards Tsukasa.

"This. I finally see Amane out of the psych ward and she is here to ruin it! This is so unfair! You know my dream is to just be with Amane and I can tell that they are very close. Closer than me and Amane!" Tsukasa balled his fists until his knuckles turned white.

"I can see that. After you two stopped being together 24/7, he made new friends. You are his twin brother. Nobody can be as close as he is with you." Sakura soothed in her monotone voice. She truly felt bad but she felt like she was soothing a hungry lion.

At any point Tsukasa could snap and bash her head in with his bare hands. Tsukasa, despite being small, was extremely fit. He had abs and everything.

Tsukasa calmed a bit but he was still on edge. The four were taking a break when Tsukasa smirked

"I got an idea! What if we all have a sleepover!" Tsukasa piped up.

"Like middle school girls? Sure. I could need the rejuvenation." Nene folded her arms.

Tsukasa's smirk grew.

"Well, won't it be weird, y'know, being in a sleepover with three boys? I only have two sleeping bags." Tsukasa tilted his head.

"I'll sleep on the floor without one!" Kou smiled cheerily.

Sakura could tell by just Tsukasa's smirk that he was up to no good. Plus, Amane seemed off.

"Yah sure Kou?" Tsukasa fake pouted.

"Mhm! I wouldn't want to make Miss Yashiro uncomfortable at all!" Kou beamed.

Nene shook her head in disapproval.

"Nuh-uh! I'm the oldest here so I'll sleep on the floor! You can have the sleeping bag, Kou." Nene smile warmly.

Sakura watched intently. Tsukasa had closed the store already so she had nothing to do. She felt bad for Nene. The girl had changed so much since highschool. Back then, you could see genuine happiness, now it's like a facade that switches on and off throughout the day. When shes with Amane you can see genuine happiness and the rest of the time it's just a facade or nothing at all.

By the time Sakura was done with her inner monologue, the four had decided on sleeping arrangements. Amane and Tsukasa would share a sleeping bag, Nene would sleep alone in a sleeping bag and Kou would sleep on the floor.

"Okie dokie! Let's get on our way to my house!" Tsukasa cheered.

Nene's POV

Nene gathered her things and so did the others.

"Hey. Maybe we should all meet up at Tsukasa's house later. I should get my stuff and take a shower." Nene smiled softly and started to walk out of the Cafe with Amane.

Sorry this one was short! I was in a rush! I should get a better schedule. I have a lot of fanfiction in my notes app and comment here if you want to see it. The ones I have are

Science experiment (Kokichi x reader)

The opal medallion (platonic lumine x reader)

LMK if you wanna see em.
