Add caught sight of (y/n) standing at the door fixing her cloak as he rounded the corner. She didn't wear it to hide her ears anymore, but she did still cherish the clothing item. Add had made sure that it had his family's symbol threaded into various places on the fabric in preparation for the future when she would officially become a permanent member of his family. "Mine," he thought to himself as he kept his gaze on her.

It had only been a two days since he began doing all of his doctor's work on his own. So far, there hadn't been any adverse effects, and he was effectively managing every task he had even if it meant putting it aside for later. Today, Add was going to meet with Night Saver and finally discuss what it was that they wanted from him. (Y/n) was there at the door to go to a nearby training ground with Raven. Dynamo was going with them as well for good measure, and Add would come pick (y/n) and Dynamo up once his meeting was over. He felt better about sending them off while Night Saver would be right within his sight.

"You always look great wearing that, you know," (y/n) spoke up when he approached her. It was nothing more than his usual work attire, all specialy made by his own hands. "Oh, but you missed a bit of hair." She reached over to tuck the stray strands behind his ear and flashed him a smile. "You'd still be perfect with it out of place, but now you look even better."

Add caught her wrist before she pulled her hand away. "How many times must I warn you not to say things like that so carelessly?" he breathed while pulling (y/n) closer to him. He could never tell if she was aware of the effect that words like those had on him when they came from her, but he adored them nevertheless. Add stared intently into her eyes which were still filled with surprise from his sudden action.

"You'll be late if you just stand at the door flirting all day," Raven spoke rather loudly from the background. His voice caused Add to flinch, and he released (y/n)'s wrist to shoot a glare back at Raven.

"This is my house. I can do whatever I want in it," he retorted at the man. "I was just about to leave anyway. Take your medication when (y/n) tells you to, or I'm going to put you to sleep and inject you with it when I get back."

"If you're cranky, just say that. No need to go taking it out on others," Raven grumbled as he walked towards them. Add stopped himself from shooting back a smart reply. He didn't have time to argue with Raven who was unfortunately right about him potentially being late.

"I'll come to get you when I'm done with my meeting," he said to (y/n) as he briefly caressed her cheek. An unconscious smile made its way into his features before he left his beloved half elf to her own plans.

With his dynamos following close behind him, Add began to head towards the center of town. His home was conveniently located in the heart of the city where most of the meeting locations chosen by his clients were only a short walk away. They day was just halfway over with the sun at its highest point. This meeting could take anywhere from thirty minutes to a few hours. By then, perhaps he could take (y/n) to that creek as the day was coming to an end.

Add's daydreaming came to an end when he reached his destination. The large building served as a civil center that both educated the people about their rights as well as provided safe spaces for gatherings. Add hated the place. He could detect the numerous amounts of fakers like himself that hid among the staff.

"Greetings, doctor." The receptionist gave a nod as he spoke. "I was told to direct you to the dome on the fifth floor. The other party has already arrived."

"You have my thanks," Add politely replied. He was completely sincere that time. Not everyone was the target of his facade afterall.

Ignoring the likely crowded elevator, he made his way up the grey marble stairs towards the room within the glass dome. His dynamos remained close behind him in an idle state. He had gotten much better at controlling them enough to prevent his true emotions from slipping through them.
