When Yunlan pushed Tori, the guard started to follow him and reached out to grab him from behind. Shen Wei said, "Stop Tori, let him go." Shen Wei was as devastated as he'd ever felt since he realized Kunlun was gone thousands of years ago. "It looks like I've lost him again."
He stoically held back the tears flooding the bottom of his eyes and went to make tea. He offered it to Tori, and after drinking it, he called SID on his landline. "Can you transfer me to Zhao Xin ci."
"Hello Shen Wei. I am so glad that you've recovered. What can I do for you?"
"First, thank you for getting the helicopter and the water here. Second, we should set a date and time certain to pick up refugees and drive them to the farm. I can transport some people first, if you can find out who has construction skills and who is strong enough to build the dorms, or who may have farming experience. I will take them directly to help the farmer. It will take time to build enough shelters, so if the government has emergency shelters, tents or trailers, let's move them to the property."

Shen Wei was drinking more tea when a knock came on the door. He answered and Da Qing came in. "Professor, are you okay? Master came home instead of going to the base. He slammed the doors to the flat and to his room, locking me out of it. What happened?"
"Yunlan found out that we were lovers in the past and that I kept it from him. He's mad and hurt. He doesn't trust me now. I don't think I can win him back." Wei's lips trembled and he looked vacantly out the window.
"Meow that, Professor. My Master has a fiery temper and hates to be kept in the dark. But I know he cares about you a great deal, more than I've seen him care for anyone. Give him some time. Don't worry. He'll come around. You are fated to be together, remember? Can I have some of that tea? Did you have breakfast? What's for lunch?"

When Zhao Yunlan heard the door open and close, he knew that Da Qing left and he was alone.
He came out of his room and sat with his knees up and feet on the couch. He began talking to himself like he did when he had a case, going over everything he knows and all the questions he has.
"I can't figure it out. I'm so mad that Wei hid something so important, and yet I like him so much I don't want to be mad. I want to forgive him and let it go, but it doesn't make sense.
"If you love someone, like he says he does, you don't hide information out of fear. You share your fears. He doesn't trust me not to run away if I know he's loved me for thousands of years?
"If he'd just told me .... He kept this secret for a long time. Well not so long, but if he loved me why not trust me and tell me? Doesn't he know that I am not a runner? I am not a quitter. I'm sure Kunlun wasn't either. Can you love someone you don't trust? Does he love me or does he love that I look like Kunlun?"
