The morning after Yunlan's return, the two stayed home, and Wei got up to make breakfast, letting Yunlan sleep in. Yunlan woke up about a half hour later and sat up. Wei was staring at him from the bedroom door.

"Why are you staring at me?" Yunlan asked.

"I,  I can't believe this is real. You are here ...and you love me. I waited a long time and when you left, we were just starting to know each other. I stare at you to see if I am dreaming or if it is real."

"How can you tell by looking?"

Wei adjusted his glasses and blinked. "I can't. I have to confirm it with a kiss." Wei walked up to him and pushed him back on the bed, kissing him. He deepened the kiss as Yunlan responded, and when they broke the kiss Wei said, "Yes you are real this is not a dream. I can smell your shampoo. I never smell anything in my dreams." He pinched Yunlan's arm. "Just to be sure."

"Hey! You're supposed to pinch yourself, not someone in a dream!" Yunlan got up shaking his head and went to the bathroom to get ready to go back to the army camp. "I wonder if he knew that... he left awfully fast."

"Come eat, Yunlan. I made your favorites." Wei yelled at him.

Wei dressed in his new black jacket and transported them to Yunlan's tent, startling Da Qing and Tori. "Cool, look - we have couples outfits," Wei smiled at them.

"I'm BACK!" Yunlan said, unnecessarily when they reached the tent. The fat back cat jumped off the bed and rubbed against his legs.

'It's about time. I missed you, Master."

Yunlan sat and the cat jumped up. Yunlan petted him while getting info on the progress training the army and any attacks.

Shen Wei and Yunlan went to the stable and saddled their horses. Daoji was especially excited, pawing the ground and tossing his head. He bumped Yunlan's back with his nose when he led him out of the barn and muttered, nickering constantly, as if he were scolding him for being gone.
