The day was like any other. It was around 3:30 P.M. The sun was slowly setting on the horizon.

James was in his classroom, the room was quiet with the only sound being the small clock hanging on the wall as it ticked quietly and James walked around the room as he placed items into their respective places.

He than heard a faint sound, it was familiar to him. The sound of a wheelchairs wheel, he knew it was Dave coming up the corridor, one if the wheels always seemed a little rusted.

He heard the door open and was greeted by the sight of Dave. Dave was a handicap user, basically the only person in the school that used a wheelchair. He needed the wheelchair because of incident that left him without the lower part of his legs, he learned to get around easy.
Dave was 25, going 26. He was fair skinned, rather pale but not too pale. He had brown hair and wore glasses, over all he was just one if those average white guys, just with a wheelchair.

"Oh, hi. What are you doing here? The maths department is over there?" James pointed to the left.

"I just wanted to stop by and just have a little chat like we always used to." Dave said looking up at James. Despite the fact James is shorter than most people in the school, with him standing at four ten. Dave will always be shorter, that's if Dave doesn't stand up of course.

"Well, uh. Hows it been? I guess."

"It's been going great. I just redecorated the house, Tristan helped."

"That sounds nice. Er, how's Tristan doing? Still having this nightmares?"

"No, it's stopped a while ago."

"That's good, it must have been stressful."

"Yeah. Anyways how about you?"

"Nothing much has happened really."

"Found anyone."

James' eyes widened. "No, not yet. Also would you shut up about that." He chuckled slightly on the last part.

"Nah, I want to know how's my little friend is doing."

"Dave I'm 21, I'm turning 22 in 2 months."

"Height wise you're little."

James tried not to laugh at that comment. Dave then noticed the time.

"I'll see you tomorrow, James. I need to go."

"Okay, bye." James went back to his task. Once he was finished he then grabbed his bag and walked over to the door opening it. He started to walk out into the cold hallways as he stepped onto one of the tiles. Suddenly he felt lighter and before he knew it he was gone.

His eyes fluttered open slowly. He lifted himself from the damp, mouldy carpet below him. He felt his skin crawl as his hands touched it, it felt all sticky and damp, almost like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. James was very picky when it came to textures but this is probably one of the worst things he's ever felt. The smell emitting from it didn't help. It just makes him feel more uncomfortable. "Eww" he mumbled as he stood up. He adjusted his visor as he tried to figure out where he was.

"Hello?" He called. He looked around to find mono-yellow wallpapered walls and loud buzzing noises coming from old, dusty Fluorescent lights filled what stood before him.
"Hello!" James called out again. "Is anyone there!?".
No answer just his voice echoing through the endless hallway which surrounded him.
This made James more worried. He decided to walk around the area looking for someone. He continued to call out for someone but it remained silent. He decided to continue to walk, he needed to get out of here, he wanted to be back home.

He continued to walk for hours, his legs started to feel numb and started to ache. He felt himself slowly get insulted by fatigue.
He started to try to call out again.
No one answered. He started to mumble to himself in German, his first language, a language he was more comfortable with, as he felt like he was about to pass out or collapse.
"Damnit." He mumbled as he slouched against the wall slowly falling down to the floor. He hated to texture of the carpet but he had no way in avoiding it now. He sat down as he felt himself slowly start to fall asleep.

He heard someone in the distance. He heard someone walking in the distance. James snapped out of the state before looking up. He started to shake as he felt slightly scared.

What if it was someone dangerous? Is some random guy from the dark web trying to steal his organs? A murder?

He pulled his sleeves over his hands and started to flap them as he felt fear run up his spine. He curled up and continued to flap his hands. He kept his eyes shut and he felt himself tear up as the visor displayed tears forming in his eyes. He heard the footsteps get slowly closer.
James started to flap his hands more intensely as he tried to stop himself from breaking down. He continued to listen out for any changes in the footsteps.

He heard the footsteps then eventually got quieter as the person walked into the distance. He sighed. He opened his eyes as he saw a silhouette walk past. He noticed the silhouette wore a cap and was much taller than James. James his his face in his hands as the silhouette disappeared into the distance.

He slowly uncovered his face. He then tried to stand up again making sure not to make any noise. He pushed his hands onto the carpet and cringed at the texture but slowly got up. His legs felt incredibly weak and ached like a mother fucker. He steadied himself against the wall as he started to walk, heavily leaning on the wall. He continued to walk before tripping over.

He let out a small yelp and heard the footsteps suddenly stop. Shit. James thought as he tried to stand himself back up.

He heard the footsteps get closer now. He started to shake. Oh no oh no. He looked behind himself and saw the silhouette again. James felt an urge to run. His eyes widened. He gathered the last bit of his energy and started to sprint trying to ignore his aching legs.

He started to try to run faster before feeling his legs buckle in and he fell face first into the floor, he yelped in pain as he tried to get up again but he felt a bruise form on his leg. He looked behind him and saw the silhouette slowly approaching. James felt his vision slowly start to darken as his vision started to blue screen. He heard his visor start to buzz as he slowly felt himself fade away into unconsciousness. The last thing he saw was a black-gloved hand gently grab his body and the person behind the hand picked up James gently, putting him over their shoulder. All James could tell before he went out was that the person had a black afro, seemingly stuffed into a cap.
