EXERSICE WAS A THING YOU GATED THE MOST AS A CHILD. That was why you always took other courses schools had to offer as an alternative to Physical Education. Yet you could not fathom why you were here, at a game that was so unbelievably easy, yet required so much running.

Your legs felt like hell and your calves hurt like hell. You felt like screaming bloody horror but seeing as there was a murderer on the loose, you did not want to take that risk. Usually, you'd take games alone and have everyone else killed off if possible, but not with this smirking man tied next to you by your wrists.

The game you took on was a 3 of Clubs, an easy win, yet Chishiya decided to tag along 'just for fun' even though he knew there was a chance of it being a Hearts game. You internally rolled your eyes, as you were always used to working alone, but were kind of grateful that he came along or else you would've had to team up with some random wimp that would surely get you killed.

As soon as the rules were explained and the game started, the two of you teamed up and searched for a hiding place. Unfortunately for you, the game arena was a vast space that required lots of running to find a good hiding spot. That gave the shooter the advantage of hunting down anyone on sight. The 'hunter' was released five minuets after the game started, meaning those imbeciles that were left baffled at the starting point were the first ones killed.

You and Chishiya had found a good and strong shelter to hide in after about a good ten minuets of running around and avoiding the shooter. You were not built for long distance running and desperately tried to catch your breath as quietly as possible to not alert the hunter of your spot. Chishiya simply smirked, amused at your beaten down state. He barely even broke a sweat, even with him being on the weaker side of the male populace, he still had incredible stamina.

You gave him a playful 'shut up' glare and chuckled breathlessly. Over the small amount of time you knew him, you had already opened up to him. Is running some kind of team bonding thing or something? Cuz jeez, if it were, you would never want to ever participate in teams.

Chishiya sat down and leaned his back against the wall of the alleyway. Our hiding spot was a small alleyway between two small houses. At the entrance of the alleyway, was a car that blocked sight of the alley. You hoped that would keep the two of you hidden until the timer ends so you won't have to run again.

Glancing at Chishiya's face from the corner of your eyes, you admired his sharp eyes and his calm physique. Given the game's difficulty level, you understood where his casual calmness came from. The gun the shooter was armed with was only a handgun, and the shooter also seemed like they didn't know how to handle a gun properly. You could easily take him out in one shot, but you felt kinda lazy and just wanted to wait til the timer runs out. You still had 20 minuets left anyways.

Of course, the two of you made it out alive due to the game being a low level. You and Chishiya strolled casually down the street while making your way back to the Beach. You hummed a small tune, a peaceful melody you once heard often as a child. Chishiya listened intently, a small smile resting on his lips. He would never admit it out loud, but he liked your singing.

You noticed a shop that was stacked with snacks and, in your spurt of joy, took hold of Chishiya's hand and dragged him forwards the store. He audibly groaned in slight annoyance, but internally blushed. As he was being dragged, he stared at your hand that was intertwined with his.

Your hand was warm, and provided him with a feeling of comfort. Your hand fit in his so perfectly, as if they were carved for each other. Snapping out of his trance by your sudden stop, he shook those thoughts away and focused on the store in front of them.

The store was a Korean snacks store. Your eyes sparked in joy as you spotted your favorite snacks through the window. "Come on, let's go!" You tugged at his hand again and took him inside. You didn't know what took over you for you to take his hand, but his touch gave you warmth, as well as butterflies swarming in your stomach.

Deciding to focus on the snacks instead, you search he store and pick out your favorite ones and ones that you thought Kuina and Chishiya would like as well. A wide smile rested on your face as your eyes sparkled in joy. "Man, I haven't had these in forever!" You exclaimed. Chishiya stole a peek at you from the corner of his eye and internally admired your face. Seeing you happy made his heart feel warm and fuzzy. He chuckled at you enthusiasm and continued to scan the shelves.

Making sure only to get non expired snacks, you finished your shopping spree and packed them in the bags. You and Chishiya made it back to the Beach and dropped off the bags at your room before taking the card to Hatter. With all that said and done, you called Kuina over to your room and the three of you had a feast on the snacks.

After the little late night snack party, you grew tired and sleepy. Deciding to call it a night, the three of you cleaned up and went back to their respective rooms to rest. You washed up, did some skincare, and plopped onto your bed. Staring at your hand, you couldn't help but think to holding Chishiya's hand. They were so warm, and your hand fit with his so nicely. You blushed, feeling the rush of butterflies again.

Could I be...falling for him?
