Based on differences between me and my friends from healthy households
and how we love and are loved differentlyYou were loved
You say you're welcome
I whisper no problem
It's the perfect characterisation of us
One loved
One damnedYou radiate love
Driving me mad with envy
For the love you received and that you distributeThe world isn't fair
But that does not mean it doesn't hurtIt's not your fault you pain me so
But still I cannot stand the sight of you
For even in our joy, it mingles with grief
However that is alrightYou are loved by me
You were loved at home
I'll stand in your rays
Collect the scraps
A futile attempt at healing
A leap for easy breathingSegundo amor
Silver blue door slammed at screaming
Glistening moonlight trickled in
The silver branches and moon glowed
I watched them longing,yI rolled out of bed, my soft feet on the wood
Trotted to the tall window
Stood on a toy box to gaze up
The past greeted me and the moon kissed meI flew away from my room
We took the second star to the right
We laughed and danced with mirth
I fell in love with the moonShe kissed my forehead
Placed me in my bed and slithered back into my door
She watched me in the night
My very own partisan who fought me in the darkest hourA minha lua, o meu segundo amor
Hard to love
The most difficult people to love are those who need it most
The ones who crave it as a drowning man craves water
Those who cannot grasp the love they receiveTheir hands burned from past declarations
The scars impeding them from accepting tenderness
No matter how often the kindness is repeated
Not knowing how else to truly reactSometimes it is best to stand by
To reassure them ever so often under the stars
Light the candle and inch it closer to their scars
Keeping the flames afar whilst revelling in their beauty
