On the previous chapter...

He looked down at me. 'Because I don't care if Mauricio dies or lives'.
'Well I do and if something happens to him, I will torture you in your own torturing rooms. I will hang yo-'.

Before I could finish my sentence he signed to his guards. ' What are you doing?'

3 guards came to the kitchen.

'Bring Miss Ricci to her room please'. Alessandro tells the guards. The guards came closer to me and picked me up by my arms and by my legs. 'Oh fuck you Alessandro'. I say to him as I try to move out of their grasp.

He grins. 'You would like that, wouldn't you?'

Madeline's POV

After the guards brought me upstairs I decided to listen to Alessandro for the first time. I got in the shower, changed my clothes and I did my hair.

While I was busy straightening my hair I heard a knock on the door. 'Come in'.

It was one of Alessandro's guards. 'Miss Ricci, the Don has a meeting in 5 minutes and he wants you to attend the meeting'.

I turned the heat off and left the bathroom. 'Tell him that I'll be there'. And he nods.

As I was heading towards the meeting room I saw Mauricio.
'Mauricio, are you okay?' I asked him and pulled him in for a hug

'Yes don't worry about me. Everything is fine'. He replied and gustered to enter the room.

'You still look like shit'. Alessandro rolls his eyes

Alessandro was wearing a basic black suit and a white shirt underneath it with his gold bracelet and chain, not to forget his gold ring at his pink.

His hair was still a mess and he wore his glasses today.

'Awh did you miss me'. I say and squeeze his cheeks. He slaps my hands off of his face.

'Don't touch me'. He shouted at me

What's up with these men thinking they can yell or shout at me. Who do they think they are?

'Don't shout at me'. I yelled at him

'Don't yell at me then'. He shouted again.

'I'm not yelling'. I shouted

'Stop shouting'. He yelled

'Both of you shut the fuck up'. Carter's voice interrupted us.

'Yeah shut up Madeline'. Alessandro added

'Don't tell me to shut up'. I snapped at Alessandro

'Never tell a woman to shut up'. Mauricio added

Preach Mauricio, preach.

Alessandro rolled his eyes and Carter began to applause. 'He really spoke man, periodt'.

'Let's begin this meeting, shall we?' Verasha suggested

'Right, thank you Verasha. Firstly I want to begin with Mauricio. He was under attack last night, as most of you already know. I'm glad that you're still alive'. I didn't let him finish.

'Bullshit, you fucking pathological liar. You said today and I quote ' I don't care if Mauricio dies or live' so don't-'. This time I couldn't finish my sentence

'Somebody kick this moron out of the meeting. She won't stop talking'. Carter says and looks at Alessandro.

Alessandro just gave us a death stare.
