His eyes darkened and came closer. 'And who got Mauricio involved in this? You. So who got him killed? You. You still haven't change, did you? You killed your little family and now Mauricio, who is next on the list, Madeline?'

'Keep my family out of your mouth'. I warn him

'And what if I don't?' He replies and chuckles

'Then I will kill you'. I say

'With?' He asks and pulls his gun out and points it at me.

I tilt my head and lift my eyebrow up.

'Go on, kill me. Pull the trigger'. I say and I watch his finger as he pulls the trigger over.

Madeline's POV

He pulls the trigger over but not a single fucking bullet comes out of it.

I smirk. 'A gun without bullets is not very useful now is it?' I open my hand and let the bullets fall out. 'Miss these?'

He looked impressed. 'Don't worry. I will kill you without a gun one day'.

'Good luck with that'. I say and send him a kiss

He sends me a disgusted look and left the room.

Stupid mafia leader.

Since yesterday I had promised Verasha that I'm not going to kill Alessandro. And that's the only reason I'm keeping him alive from now on.

But if he crosses my lines, I won't mind to kill him, on accident of course.

I already let the water run in the shower

I am in the need of an extra hot shower.

I close my eyes as the water flows on me.

'You killed them'
'It's all your fault'
'Mauricio is dead because of you"

All these fucking voices won't shut up as I see them all, covered in blood.

So much blood.

And it's all my fault. My fucking fault.

So many people died because of me

I cover my eyes as I yell. 'Make it stop'.

I punch the shower glasses as much as I could do before it fell on the ground.

It hits the mirror, making the mirror fall too.

The other glass falls right in front of the door

I slowly sit down into the ground as the water still runs. I let my head fall back.

I heard someone enter the room.

'Madeline are you okay? Open the door!' I heard a familiair voice as he wanted to enter the bathroom, but he can't because I had locked it.
