The morning sun peaked through the window and danced around Y/N's face. It was warm and welcoming. Slowly their E/C eyes opened and glistened slightly in the light. Y/N squinted and let out a groggy groan as they pulled themselves out of bed. Their H/C hair was messy and unkempt after a restful night. Y/N swung their legs over the edge of their bed and let their bare feet touch the cool wooden floor below. She sighed once more and stretched her arms over her head, her back and shoulders creaked slightly with the stretch.

Y/N spent the morning preparing to open the shop which was conveniently below her little apartment. Her home was small, but quant and the perfect size for her. Y/N made herself a quick breakfast, and got dressed in a comfortable pair of dark blue jeans, black combat boots, a plain heather gray shirt and a military green jacket. Y/N wasn't too concerned with looks, especially if she was going to spend the day hunched over smelly pirates. She wanted to be comfortable.

Y/N stepped out of her apartment and locked the door behind her. She shoved the keys in her jacket pocket and headed down a narrow flight of stairs into her shop. Her shop was called The Rusty Needle. That name buzzed around Logue Town and was a hot spot for pirates looking to get inked. Y/N started setting up her stations. With a upward flick of her wrist all of the drawers in the small shop slid open. The cabinets were omitting a deep purple aura as Y/N pulled out bottles of ink and levitated them over to her work station. Y/N had only 1 table in her  small shop, which doesn't seem like a lot but because Y/N works fast, it's no problem moving onto the next customer.

Once the shop was all set up and ready for customers, Y/N unlocked the front door. As she stepped outside she, there was a small group of 4 pirates waiting. "Come on in guys, wipe your feet first. I don't want you dragging mud in here." Y/N said with a slight smile. Y/N tattooed one pirate at a time, usually pirate crews who come in all get the same tattoo, usually of their Jolly Roger. This makes things very easy for Y/N since most of them aren't very complex. It didn't take Y/N long at all to finish all 4 pirates tattoos. "Aw man these look awesome!!!" One of the pirates exclaims as they examine the tattoo on their upper arm. "Thanks a bunch, Y/N!" The pirates call out as they stepped out of the

The day continued on as usual, pirates came in and out of her shop back to back, barely giving Y/N time to take a break. Y/N was intently tattooing the leg of her customer when the shops door busted open violently. Y/N sighed but didn't take her eyes off her work. "Hey buddy, what do you think you're doing busting in like that?" She grumbled and shook her head with distain. But there was no response from the stranger who had marched in. There was a strong stench of smoke and tobacco that filled the air, it almost felt like it was choking her and squeezing her lungs. Y/N froze, they recognized this smell anywhere. It was Smoker.

Without much time to reach the marine began knocking shelves and trays onto the ground. He glared down at the pirates waiting their turn. His cigar was gently resting between his teeth. "Tsk...I'd get out of here if I were you." He mumbled in a low, gravely tone. The pirates got up quickly and ran out the door. Y/N stood up and placed the tattoo gun down firmly. The pirate she was tattooing quickly got up and ran after his crew mates with an unfinished tattoo.

Y/N had a stern, dark, and unimpressed look on her face as she stared the marine up and down. "What? So you think you can just bust in here and do what you want!" Y/N shouted with anger. Smoker growled and grabbed the collar of Y/N's shirt and pulled her close to his face, the smoke from his cigar burned her nostrils. "Who exactly do you think you're talking to woman? Huh!?" He shouted back at her, and his grip on her shirt didn't loosen. "I thought I told you hundreds of times to close this dump, you've made this town a pirate playground. You continue to conspire with criminals regardless of the consequences." Smoker sighed as more smoke escaped his lips. "I should have arrested you for conspiring with pirates years ago, but I guess I felt bad for you." Smokers eyes narrowed. Y/N didn't meet Smoker's gaze, her eyes were diverted over to a set of tattoo needles. Without hesitation she used her abilities to send them flying towards Smoker's neck, but of course with Smoker's powers, he was able to turn to smoke and the needles passed through him completely. Y/N eyes widened with fear knowing what mistake she just made.

Smokers form returned to normal and he threw Y/N across the shop, she knocked over tables and drawers of supplies as she fell on the ground harshly. "You think that stupid trick of yours can hurt me?" Smoker smirked slightly. "Unfortunately I have more important things to take care of now, but I will return here at sunset, to finally remove you and your stained existence from this town. And don't you dare try to escape. I have marines all over this town. There's no where to hide, Y/N." And with that Smoker left, slamming the glass front door, causing it to crack and shatter.

Y/N was left in a daze. Her head was spinning as she slowly stood up. She rubbed the back of her head and groaned. Once she regained her bearings she looked around. Her shop was a complete wreck. Smoker was only there for a short period of time but the damage was immense. There were broken bottles of ink covering the floor and supplies strung all over the place. Y/N hung her head in defeat, her E/C eyes half lidded as she started down the set of needles she flew towards Smoker. "Dammit..."
