Chapter 18

🐶Bruno🐶

I slowly opened my eyes and stretched briefly. Then I looked at the clock to see what time it was. It was 5:21 a.m. The Pizzaplex will open at 6:00 as always. I cuddled with the Roxy plushie then put the plushie aside and got up from my comfy couch and got ready for the day. I'm very happy to spend time with Roxy today and help her at Roxy Raceway.

I left my room and the female wolf was already standing in front of me, tail wagging. I immediately blushed from almost bumping into her.

"Um...good...morning." I said looking into her beautiful yellow eyes.

"Good morning." Roxy said back and snuggled up to me. I gently wrapped my tail around the female wolf.

"How...how did you sleep? Did you have another nightmare?" asked I.

"This time I hadn't had a nightmare. Thanks to the Bruno plushie you gave me, I slept very well. But of course I could have slept much better if you had been with me, my sweet Bruno." Roxy replied lovingly, gently pressing her nose onto mine.

My cheeks turned even redder as the female wolf gently pressed her nose onto mine.

Roxy took my hand. We were about to make our way to the atrium when we suddenly saw Vanessa coming into Rockstar Row. She entered Freddy's Green Room.

"I think Freddy will be brought out of sleep mode." said I. Curious, me and Roxy followed the security guard and entered the bear's room.

Freddy sat on his couch. Vanessa was closing a hatch on Freddy's arm. The bear opened his eyes and looked around.

"Okay now the system error should be fixed. Come to Parts and Service later and I'll check your system again, Freddy." said Vanessa to the bear.

"Thank you Officer Vanessa." said Freddy and nodded.

When Vanessa wanted to leave the room, she looked at the female wolf and said to her. "You have to go to Roxy Raceway when the pizzaplex opens."

"I know. Bruno will come with me and help me on my go-kart track." Roxy said looking at me smiling softly.

I smiled back.

Vanessa nodded and then left Freddy's room.

The bear got up from his couch and looked at us. "Did I miss anything while I was in sleep mode?" asked he.

"I filled in on stage last night for you and sang. The guests loved it and everyone called my name." I told the bear and wagged my tail.

"Bruno was awesome. He can sing so beautifully." said Roxy and snuggled up to me.

I gently leaned my head on Roxy's head.

Freddy walked over to me smiling and pulled me into a tight hug. Roxy took a step back. "Thank you Bruno. You are a good friend." said the bear. I smiled because Freddy was so happy.

"Freddy, I have something to tell you...it's about Monty." Roxy said suddenly, arms crossed.
